[00:00:02] Welcome to the Karma Chaj podcast.
[00:00:07] Great, thank you.
[00:00:10] Take a seat.
[00:00:13] As I, I think I mentioned, a couple of us had the absolute privilege of going to a conference and speaking at a church in Christchurch, right on the south coast.
[00:00:27] If you've never been to Christ, it's next to Bournemouth. If you've never been to Christchurch, it is absolutely stunningly beautiful.
[00:00:35] And it just proves to me that God has favorites, okay? Because their church is two minutes from the sea and we got to walk down and watch the sunset over the water.
[00:00:46] But they're, they're delightful people. They come to our leaders gathering and it was really, it was really quite moving hearing them singing our songs. And they, they have a slightly different demographic to us.
[00:01:01] So Christchurch is a retirement place.
[00:01:06] So they do have youth and young. And they were all worshiping and up the front dancing, but so were their 60 pluses.
[00:01:15] Okay. And they got them all on the stage doing the dance to Even More Than this. And I was crying with laughter and they just went for it.
[00:01:28] And then we did healing afterwards for them. But I'm kidding about that. We didn't do healing afterwards.
[00:01:35] But it was just such a privilege to be amongst them and just enjoy what God is doing. And if you're reasonably new around here, you don't know some of our journey, about seven years ago, God spoke to us and he said, I want you to change some things up.
[00:01:57] I want you to start gathering around my presence.
[00:02:01] You know, in the Old Testament, the Israelites gathered around the presence of God.
[00:02:07] He would lead them in a pillar of cloud and a pillar of fire, and that whenever his presence would move, they would move. And if his presence stayed, they would stay.
[00:02:20] And he said, I want you to start seeking my presence.
[00:02:25] In fact, he said three things. He said, I want you to start seeking my presence. And so we started to give a little bit more time for worship. And you know, from day one, his presence came the moment we started, this lovely presence of God came in the room. He said, I want you to get your thinking about money right?
[00:02:44] So we started on a journey there. And that's another story.
[00:02:48] And he said, I want you to go after salvation. And by that we understood people giving their lives to Jesus. And there'll be an opportunity in a minute, but also the healing of the body. Salvation, sozo means healing of the whole person.
[00:03:07] So when Jesus died on the cross, when his body was beaten, Peter says, by his stripes we are healed.
[00:03:15] And again, the journey of the church rediscovering the healing ministry of Jesus Christ, these are the important things to God. You know, we have lots of important things to us in church, but what is important to God?
[00:03:32] And so one of the things that as we started going on this journey was a reverence came upon us for the name. You know, we used to talk, and we still do a bit, and we, I still believe it, you know, we don't take ourselves too seriously, but we take him very seriously. And by that I mean, I mean I am small change in his pocket to use how he desires. But he is the Lord, so I'm not the important one. He is the important one. And I, and I walk with Him. But, you know, sometimes when you don't take yourself too seriously, you stop taking him seriously.
[00:04:11] And, you know, we were at a place where, you know, people just wandering into worship with their hands in their pockets late. None of you would arrive here late.
[00:04:20] I'm not telling you off.
[00:04:22] We would talk about coffee and donuts more than we talked about Jesus.
[00:04:27] And this all had to change.
[00:04:30] He became the main event.
[00:04:33] The worship of the Lord was why we were gathering. And so another thing that started to happen as we gathered around his presence, joy started to well up.
[00:04:44] And, you know, sometimes literally so this morning, you know, the wave offering. But sometimes we would just be worshiping and something inside people would well up and they would just start shouting and praising because the spirit of God was stirring them inside.
[00:05:01] And then this another thing that started happening was blessing.
[00:05:08] Blessing came upon us.
[00:05:13] But, you know, when we started this journey, it wasn't easy.
[00:05:19] It was a painful journey. I remember when we started, 200 people left us, just walked out the door. They said, we don't want any of this nonsense.
[00:05:30] I remember we couldn't pay the bills.
[00:05:32] The first time in my life in all of leading a church, I had to stand up and say, we can't pay the bills, we need help. And we took an offering up and I think you gave about £90,000 just like that.
[00:05:45] And we could pay the bills. You know, half of our staff went.
[00:05:53] We didn't have any worship people.
[00:05:56] They all went.
[00:05:58] And we were on our knees going, God, we cannot do this. But you've called us to seek your presence.
[00:06:11] But God.
[00:06:13] And I tell you, whenever you read in the scriptures and you read all that's going on, it says, but God, if you've got your Bibles, find Deuteronomy, chapter 30.
[00:06:25] I know this isn't competition, but she's in Exodus and I'm in Deuteronomy. I'm winning.
[00:06:31] Don't know where you've got to yet. And part of the reason that we've said, you know, why don't this year read through the whole Bible is because so many Christians have never read the Bible. They've never read the whole Bible. So they don't know what it says. They know what bits of it say.
[00:06:49] And so what we're doing is we're doing a little series now on the Ten Commandments, because we're talking about the ways of God.
[00:06:57] But if we want the blessings of God, we need to walk in the ways of God. So this is what we're going to read. So this is Deuteronomy, chapter 30. Why don't you stand again? This is another thing we do. This is the word of God. So whenever we read it, we stand.
[00:07:14] This is Deuteronomy 31. Now it shall come to pass when all these things come upon you, the blessing and the curse which I have set before you and you call them to mind among the nations where the Lord your God drives you, and you return to the Lord your God and obey his voice according to all that I command you today, you and your children, with all your heart and with all your soul, that the Lord your God will bring you back from captivity and have compassion on you and gather you again from all the nations where the Lord your God has scattered you. If any of you are driven out to the furthest parts under heaven, from there the Lord your God will gather you, and from there he will bring you. Then the Lord your God will bring you to the land which your fathers possessed, and you shall possess it.
[00:08:07] He will prosper you and multiply you more than your fathers, and the Lord your God will circumcise your heart and the heart of your descendants to love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, that you may live.
[00:08:22] Also, the Lord your God will put all these curses on your enemies and on those who hate you, who persecute you, and you will again obey the voice of the Lord and do all his commandments which I command you today. The Lord your God will make you abound in all the work of your hand, in the fruit of your body, in the increase of your livestock, and in the produce of your land for good. The Lord will again rejoice over you for good as he rejoiced over your fathers, if you obey the voice of the Lord your God to keep his commandments and his statutes which are written in in this book of the law. And if you turn to the Lord your God with all Your heart and with all your soul.
[00:09:08] Amen. Take a seat.
[00:09:16] Do you know, after all the journeying, after all the ups and downs, after all the painful things that happened and being on our knees calling out before the Lord, do you know, it was such an amazing thing to travel all the way down to the bottom of the country and hear people singing our songs that were written through the journey of where God has taken us. And it's bringing other people on the journey. Do you know, last month we were the third highest UK Christian stream on Spotify?
[00:10:00] That's crazy.
[00:10:04] I asked, you know, I'm experimenting with AI. I asked AI, how is Chroma worship doing? And AI said, not too bad.
[00:10:13] They've got. They're an emerging group who love Jesus, but they've got a little way to go to catch up with. It was Matt Redmond and Ren Collective. But our streams went from 20,000amonth to 200,000amonth. That's amazing.
[00:10:33] That's what. And I'm not saying that to boast because it's not me, right? It was those guys.
[00:10:40] And now I actually believe if I was actually singing on it as well, the streams would go a lot higher, okay?
[00:10:47] But they're unsure. And once they get the revelation from God of the foolishness of their ways, you will be singing my songs as well.
[00:10:58] But why do I tell you that? Because no matter where you find yourself this morning, no matter what situation you find yourself, no matter how hopeless you think it might be, God has a plan out, okay? And he has proved to us. Because anyone that was here then know what it was like.
[00:11:19] And then the miracles that he has done in this place, in the lives of the different people, the people that have walked forward week in, week out to give their lives to Jesus. This is why we're looking at his ways. Because we've now got all these people that have given their life to Jesus. And I want you to walk in the abundant life that we promised you. But Jesus says, if you love me, you obey my commandments, you'll do what I say. And as you walk in my ways, the blessing of heaven comes upon you. So this morning, you shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain. For the Lord will not hold him guiltless who takes his name in vain.
[00:12:00] So the first thing I want to say is the name of the Lord is hallowed.
[00:12:07] Elohim. God the Creator, mighty and strong.
[00:12:13] Yahweh. I am who I am.
[00:12:16] Adonai Lord. Master El Shaddai.
[00:12:22] God Almighty.
[00:12:24] El Elyon. God Most High Elim.
[00:12:30] Everlasting God.
[00:12:33] Jehovah. Jireh. The Lord will provide Jehovah. Rapha. It is the Lord who heals Jehovah. Nissi.
[00:12:45] The banner. The name of the Lord over his people. Jehovah. Shalom. The Lord is peace. Look, friends, the name of the Lord is hallowed. The Lord's Prayer. Our Father, who. Who art in heaven, Hallowed be your name. We honor the name of the Lord. There is no other name.
[00:13:09] There is no other name to be worshiped. There is no other name that can rescue you. There is no other name that is powerful to deliver you from your enemies.
[00:13:22] That's what he says.
[00:13:24] And then there is the name.
[00:13:29] The name of Jesus.
[00:13:31] And his name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace, the Messiah, the Son of God, the Saviour, Lamb of God, the Word, the light of the world, the bread of life, the good shepherd, the resurrection and the life, the way, the truth, the life, the vine, the Bridegroom, the King of Kings, the Alpha and the Omega, the rock, the cornerstone, the morning star, the firstborn from the dead, a great high priest.
[00:14:09] He is both my king and my friend.
[00:14:13] But he's my king first.
[00:14:16] He says, I call you friends, but I don't enter his presence, right? Jesus, mate, He's a king and his name is to be revered. And he gave his life for each one of us. So there is a reverence. His name is hallowed, yet I can walk into his presence because of his blood that was shed on the cross.
[00:14:46] So he is firstly my king and secondly my friend. You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not hold him guiltless who takes his name in vain.
[00:14:59] You see how we not only love the Lord is important, but how we honour him is important.
[00:15:07] We come reverently.
[00:15:09] We don't often talk about coming fearfully, do we?
[00:15:13] But there is a sense of the transcendence of God, the reason they built cathedrals how they did. And you walk into the cathedral and go, whoa.
[00:15:28] They were designed so that we walk in. There would be a reverence to the Lord when we approach him.
[00:15:38] There's a sense of humility. We bow down.
[00:15:42] But then there's this joy that rises up inside of us because of the deliverance that he brings in our life. And I think that's one of the greatest. If you were to say to me, what is the greatest gift we have here is joy, the joy of what God has done. But we bow under his glory. What we found out, you know, while we're praising and we're dancing and you know, I don't know if you've read Psalms, talks about it all the time, but while we're praising and we're dancing, what it does is Psalm 100 says, we come into his gates with thanksgiving and he's courts with praise. And then the glory comes.
[00:16:22] And then. So we enter in praise and dance for this glorious God. And then the glory of God comes.
[00:16:31] When John in Revelation, when he's writing Revelation, he comes in the presence of the Lord. When I saw him, I fell at his feet as if dead because of the glory of God.
[00:16:44] This is why worship is so important to us as a church.
[00:16:47] We believe it's our highest calling to worship him and lay our lives down into his service.
[00:16:53] And we always start and finish worship reverently.
[00:16:58] Why? Because he is the main event.
[00:17:01] This isn't the main event. The talk isn't the main event.
[00:17:05] You know, I hope you're going to learn something, you know, and I hope you can take something back that will help you live. But the main event is having an encounter with the Lord Jesus Christ. When he comes in the room. He is the main event.
[00:17:18] I always acknowledge his presence, you know, when we pray for the sick. One of the things you'll find I've learned just Lord, thank you.
[00:17:27] I don't take any of this for granted. At any moment the Presence could lift and we are in stuck.
[00:17:35] Because the only thing that holds us together, all the nations that have come to this church, is the Lord Jesus Christ.
[00:17:42] You've come because of Him.
[00:17:44] You've not become to be part of a gang or a group or a worship team. You've come because of Jesus. He draws nations to himself from all over.
[00:17:56] That's what we were reading.
[00:17:58] And as a people, we're learning to host his holy presence. We want to live our lives constantly aware of Him. He has made his home in us. He doesn't visit. He resides in us.
[00:18:12] You should not take the name of the Lord your God in vain. Vain means emptiness, vanity, falsehood, worthlessness.
[00:18:21] So we honour the name of the Lord. Number two and I will move, I promise you. I'm going to move really quick. Do not blaspheme, you know, oh God. Or curse or oh my God, you know, I hear this a lot, you know, oh, my God. What just happened?
[00:18:41] That almost came out American, didn't it? Sorry, I'm from Essex, I'm not from anywhere from America. I don't know where that came from. Who knew? I. I must have it in my genes. And you know, all I want to you say. I want to say to you, be careful.
[00:18:57] Don't evoke the name of God. And you might go, I just can't stop myself. It's just a habit, I realize, but you're calling the name of the Lord. You consume and you go, oh, my God. He says, yes.
[00:19:12] All of heaven stops, and he says, yes.
[00:19:15] And you're, ah, just kidding.
[00:19:19] Do you see what I mean?
[00:19:21] And you might. You might go, yeah, but I can't stop. I just do it. Well, that's all right. Whenever you go. Just because whenever we evoke the name of God, we're in. We worship him. Oh, my God.
[00:19:38] And you just say to your friends going, what are you doing? I'm just worshiping.
[00:19:42] I just evoke the name of the Lord. And you see, you'll start to change what you say.
[00:19:49] Okay, Because I understand. We don't take ourselves too seriously. We take his name seriously. And I'm going to explain why in a minute.
[00:19:57] Because there is no other name.
[00:20:00] And when you start evoking the name of God, things start to happen.
[00:20:05] So we don't want to take his name in vain because we want to release the power of God.
[00:20:12] You know, even when you're just chatting to one another, he is listening. Malachi 3:16. Then those who feared the Lord spoke to one another, and the Lord listened and heard them.
[00:20:22] Some of the translations say he counted as prayer.
[00:20:26] As you speak with each other, the Lord is listening and waiting to answer. Because your words carry power.
[00:20:36] You see, prayer is words, and it just depends upon whom you direct your words to.
[00:20:42] So be careful how you evoke the name of the Lord. And you might go, oh, Steve, come on.
[00:20:49] The reason I came to Cromer is because you're relaxed about these things.
[00:20:53] If you think that you misunderstood us.
[00:20:56] We have fun, we have joy.
[00:21:00] The Lord is throwing a party, but we take him very seriously.
[00:21:06] It's not about us, it's about him. You know, just a. There's a story, and I don't have time to read it. Leviticus 24:10.
[00:21:13] When you get out of Exodus, you'll get to it.
[00:21:18] I'm kidding. She knows them all.
[00:21:23] There's an Egyptian, and this story is about an Egyptian father, an Israelite mother, and they have a son.
[00:21:31] And the son grows up.
[00:21:36] She's done it three times. Three times this week she's read the Bible. Yeah, I know. All right, I'm sorry, I'm sorry.
[00:21:43] Egyptian father, Israelite. Mother, they have a son.
[00:21:49] The son grows up and has a dispute.
[00:21:52] And in the midst of the dispute, he curses God.
[00:21:57] So they bring him before Moses and say, what should we do? What's the problem?
[00:22:01] The Egyptian father has no regard for the Lord. And because the father has no regard for the Lord, the son has no regard for the Lord. And they bring him before Moses, say, what should we do? So he inquires of the Lord, and the Lord says, take him out and stone him.
[00:22:16] And in our context, we're what?
[00:22:20] This is how serious it is, and this is what the Lord says. He says, then you shall speak to the children of Israel saying, whoever curses his God shall bear his sin.
[00:22:31] Don't do it. I was looking at our blasphemy laws in England.
[00:22:36] I thought, I'm sure we've got a blasphemy law. Do you know what? We don't.
[00:22:40] In 2008, the blasphemy law was repealed because it interfered with free speech.
[00:22:50] So we couldn't protect the name of the Lord that we had for hundreds of years. There had been a blasphemy law, okay. But because we wanted free speech, anyone to say what they wanted to say?
[00:23:02] That's worked out, right? Great, isn't it?
[00:23:06] We repealed the blasphemy law in 2008. Do you know what else happened in 2008?
[00:23:11] Financial crash.
[00:23:15] It could just be a coincidence, right? I mean, what a strange thing that happened. I know. It was America and Lehman Brothers that started the crime crash.
[00:23:22] We repeal the blasphemy law.
[00:23:24] A nation that has walked with Jesus, and bang, the curses come.
[00:23:30] God is serious.
[00:23:35] He doesn't believe me.
[00:23:37] Every now and again, a new Christian comes to me and says, I'm worried I've blasphemed against the Holy Spirit.
[00:23:44] Anyone? No, I'm not going to ask this, all right? But anyone worried?
[00:23:48] Anyone that's been a Christian? You. You're working your way through the Bible and you get to that one.
[00:23:53] Jesus says this. Therefore, I say to you, everyone say to you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy and guilt of spirit will not be forgiven. And you go, oh, no, I've done it. I must have done that one. I've done all the others, so I must have done that one. And people come to me and go, I'm really worried that I might have blasphemed against the spirit. Does that mean I'm going to hell? I mean, the mere fact that you're worried you might have done it means you haven't done it.
[00:24:22] Okay? Because what Jesus is saying is rejecting the work of the Holy Spirit. If you reject the work of the Holy Spirit, you cannot be forgiven. Why? Because he is the One who convicts us of sin. He is the one who draws us to Jesus. He is the one that's knocking on the door of your heart, calling you in. So if you're worried that you've done it, you can't have done it. And as long as you stay worried that you've done it, you're going to be fine.
[00:24:44] I don't mean worry. I mean, I mean a reverent concern to walk in the ways of the Lord. Is that all right? So you're clear of that one. Okay, really, really quick. We're running out of time. Saying something is God when it's not.
[00:25:00] Okay, now this. You know, it's hard to find examples, and this is one you're really going to struggle with. But when I was younger, God told one girl she was going to marry me. He just didn't tell me. And then he told another girl she was going to marry me, which meant I was going to get two.
[00:25:18] And I thought I was only meant to be at one. And I don't know if the Lord was doing a pick and mix or something like that, but my hunch is that. Okay, it's.
[00:25:35] Don't encourage me. No, I'm just here, I'm just doing. Just a pause here for a moment. Is there anyone here looking for a husband or wife?
[00:25:44] Own up. Come on. There are somebody gone. I'm going to pray for you. Just stand up for a moment. Go on, just stand up. You're looking for a husband and wife. Come on, come on, come on, come on.
[00:25:58] Okay, look, one of the girls is running a Bible study in her school.
[00:26:05] She's not here, is she? Where is she? She might be out of you.
[00:26:08] And she came up to me last Sunday night and she said, it's going great, but I'm really worried that some of the people are just coming for the snacks.
[00:26:17] And I said, ah, don't worry about it. Half my church are coming because they're looking for a husband or wife.
[00:26:23] That's a good thing.
[00:26:25] Where else are you going to find good crop people who love Jesus, people who walk in his ways? Now, Lord Jesus, I just pray and I thank you for their courage to be able to stand up.
[00:26:40] Lord, I pray that you would answer their prayer.
[00:26:44] Lord, you said, ask anything in your name and you will do it. The Father would do it. I And I pray that you would find them a great husband or wife that will love them and take care of them and that they would walk with you and have an incredible adventure.
[00:27:04] Amen. You can sit down now. If the Lord happens to you, think he speaks to you about you're gonna marry someone, firstly, treasure it in your heart.
[00:27:15] That's what Mary did, Remember? Not about marriage, but about Jesus.
[00:27:19] Secondly, go and get a date if you can. If you do get a date and you think they're the right person, propose before someone else does, all right? Because everyone is free game until you get the ring on.
[00:27:35] All right? And some of you just taking way too much time, okay? So if they love Jesus, okay? And you, you love them and they make you laugh and they're kind, and you think that this could be the right person, and they think it. Because it needs to go both ways. Just pop the question, all right? Get it all signed and sealed.
[00:28:02] What was I. Oh, say something. Yeah. So don't use the name of the Lord to get what you want.
[00:28:11] You know, last year we were in revival prayer, and the Lord, we're just all worshiping away. You know what it's like. The Lord spoke to me about one of the guys. He said, everything's going to change for him now.
[00:28:22] And I thought, oh, I know. I know what that is. He's going to step up and the Lord's about to use him. But I didn't go to him and say, the Lord says everything's going to change.
[00:28:31] I just went to him and said, hey, I'd love you to step up and do this. Is that something you'd like to do? Why don't you go and ask the Lord if that's what you should be doing?
[00:28:40] And I'm pleased to say he did. And did.
[00:28:43] You see, I'm careful not to use the name of the Lord to get what I want.
[00:28:48] We don't do that.
[00:28:50] You're married.
[00:28:51] Anyone married here? Come on up. Yeah. Don't you. This. Look, this is a great verse. Wives, obey your husband.
[00:29:01] Thank you, Lord.
[00:29:05] Don't you love the Bible?
[00:29:07] This is a great book and we love that verse. Wives obey.
[00:29:14] Do as you're told.
[00:29:19] Unfortunately, she has read it three times. There's another verse that follows it.
[00:29:26] Husbands, love your wife, just as Christ also loved the church and gave himself for it. No, because the first verse I could use to get what I need.
[00:29:42] But the second one. Husbands, love your wives as Christ loved the church. How did Christ love the church? He died for us.
[00:29:50] He hung on the cross. He bled.
[00:29:53] Thankfully, he was raised from the dead.
[00:29:56] He gave it. Sorry. He gave it all. I got it wrong. He gave it all.
[00:30:02] So we can't use the name of the Lord to get what we want.
[00:30:07] Darn.
[00:30:08] We have to mutually love each other and serve each other and grow together in love and walk in his ways.
[00:30:18] I asked what's happened. The reason I asked. I've been playing with AI is it made me subscribe for a month because it wouldn't give me an answer until I paid more money.
[00:30:31] This is true. So I paid for a month. So I'm just getting my money's worth, all right? So I asked AI, I said, is there any religions in the world that allow the beating of women?
[00:30:44] And it said, no, that's just not true.
[00:30:48] AI gets loads of stuff wrong. So not true.
[00:30:52] Do you know the only religion in the world that champions women?
[00:30:59] Yahweh has. Right from the beginning, right to the end, the great liberator of women was Jesus Christ.
[00:31:11] One of the shocking things about Jesus was that he raised women up. Why do I say that?
[00:31:18] It is never right for a man to beat a woman. Ever, ever, ever. Proverbs says, he who troubles his own house will inherit the wind.
[00:31:31] One Sunday morning, we were just down here ministering, and a man came and he confessed. He confessed, I beat my wife.
[00:31:39] And the police had come, so he'd. Obviously it was serious.
[00:31:46] And he looked at me as if I was meant to say something, so I did.
[00:31:50] I said, the Lord forgives you, but you deserve to go to prison.
[00:31:54] And he said, what do you mean?
[00:31:57] I said, you need to go to prison for what you did. You're forgiven. I can forgive you. But sin has a consequence.
[00:32:05] He was a bit ticked off. I don't know why.
[00:32:09] Because, you know, we just don't give free passes. All right.
[00:32:15] Anyway, he vanished. Obviously, he didn't like what I said. But he came back a year later. He said, I went to prison.
[00:32:23] They put me away. I got a year. I did six months.
[00:32:26] You were right. I needed to go to prison.
[00:32:31] Never, ever beat a woman.
[00:32:35] Jesus is the great liberator. And never use this book to say, you can.
[00:32:44] Wives, obey your husbands. Husbands love your wife as Jesus loved the church.
[00:32:53] And he laid down his life and he gave everything for her. Oh, my goodness.
[00:32:59] Okay, really quick. How should we use the name of the Lord? This is the good bit.
[00:33:04] Jesus says, whatever you ask the Father in my he will give you when we gather in his name.
[00:33:17] There he is, right in the midst at the Name of Jesus, you are saved.
[00:33:27] You're rescued. But as many who received him, this is John.
[00:33:30] To him, he gave to them. He gave the right to become children of God to those who believe in his name.
[00:33:38] This is why we don't mess with the Name.
[00:33:41] This is why we are baptized into his name.
[00:33:46] It is his name we go. In the name of Jesus, I baptize you. You are under, and your sin is washed away. And you come up in his name.
[00:33:57] His banner is over you, Jehovah, Nissi. The name of God. Jesus, we are healed. In his name.
[00:34:06] You see, when you say, oh, my God, I'm just playing with you.
[00:34:15] I was too much American. He says, yes, so you can speak healing.
[00:34:20] Why? Because the presence of the Lord is there.
[00:34:23] And he said, how do you say? Well, that's very presumptuous to speak healing. No, Jesus said, healed sick, cast out demons, raise the dead, cleanse lepers. Don't do it. He says, so when we evoke the name of God, the Name is available to us not to curse, but for power.
[00:34:45] Signs and wonders are done. In the name of Jesus Christ. Acts 4. At the name of Jesus, every knee will bow. Philippians 2.
[00:34:52] At the name of Jesus. You know you have eternal life. John says these things, these things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God. Look, the name of God always releases blessings.
[00:35:09] But when his people use his name irreverently, the curses are released.
[00:35:15] And I was reading the end of Deuteronomy.
[00:35:19] Do you know our country has them all at the moment?
[00:35:23] I mean, I just went through and I thought, oh, my goodness, we got that one. We got that one. We got that one. You know, blindness, financial difficulties, long term health problems.
[00:35:34] We got them all but God.
[00:35:38] We got them all but God. Because he says, when you return to me, when you call upon My name, when you love me with all your heart and all your soul, then I will restore.
[00:35:50] And I will restore more.
[00:35:52] It will be better. And you will know that I am God, but revere my name.
[00:36:02] So what am I saying? The name of the Lord is holy.
[00:36:05] Do not blaspheme or say something.
[00:36:09] Is God to get your own way, but rather call on the name of the Lord and you will be saved and release his blessing, the Lord. When we return to the Lord, the Lord your God will make you abound in all the work of your hand in the fruit of your body, in the increase of your livestock, in the produce of your land for good. For the Lord will again rejoice over you for good, as he rejoiced over your fathers, if you obey the voice of the Lord your God, to keep his commandments and his statutes which are written in this book of the law. And if you turn to the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul, you see, we honour His Name. We call upon His Name. His Name saves us and leads us into eternal life. We are carriers of the Name. Amen. Stand up. Let's serve.
