[00:00:29] We are in Nehemiah. We've been in Nehemiah now for a few weeks.
[00:00:34] It's a good place to be when you're buying a building. Buying a campus is to be in a book that's all about building.
[00:00:42] So we're back in Nehemiah today.
[00:00:45] Nehemiah chapter nine.
[00:00:48] If you've got your Bibles, your iPads, your smartphones, that's where we are.
[00:00:54] Nehemiah is one of the historical books, so it's just after Kings and Chronicles, page 398 in my Bible, if that's any help to you. Probably not, but hey, and I'm reading from the ESV translation, which is the excellently superlative version. And we will stand to read God's Word together.
[00:01:19] So Nehemiah 9:1 says this now, on the 24th day of this month, the people of Israel were assembled with fasting and in sackcloth and with earth on their heads. And the Israelites separated themselves from all foreigners and stood and confessed their sins and the iniquities of their fathers.
[00:01:44] And they stood in their place and read from the book of the law of the Lord, the Lord their God. For a quarter of the day.
[00:01:52] For another quarter of it, they made confession and worshipped the Lord their God.
[00:01:58] On the stairs of the Levites stood. Jeshua.
[00:02:02] Bani is a cute name. Kadmiel, Shebaniah, Buni. Even cuter name.
[00:02:09] Sherebiah Bani again. He's getting a few mentions here. And Chenanai. I feel like I'm in kind of hobbit territory here. Bani and Bunny and Billah and Boffer and whatever. Anyway, let's concentrate.
[00:02:27] And then the Levites. Jeshua Bani again. Heshboniah, Sherebiah, Hodiah, Shebaniah and Pathaniah. You know, if you say things really quickly with authority, I have no idea whether they're the right pronunciation, but you get away with it.
[00:02:41] And they said, stand up and bless the Lord your God. From everlasting to everlasting. Blessed be your glorious name, which is exalted above all. Blessing and praise. You are the Lord, you alone. There it is, the declaration. You are the Lord, you alone. You have made heaven, the heaven of heavens with all their hosts, the earth and all that is on it, the sea and all that is in them, and you preserve all of them. And the Hosts of heaven and worship you.
[00:03:08] You are the Lord, the God who chose Abraham and brought him out of Ur of the Chaldeans and gave him the name Abraham.
[00:03:16] You found his heart faithful before you and made him the covenant to give to his offspring the land of the Canaanite, the Hittite, the Amorite, the Perizzite, the Jebusite and the Girgashite. And you have kept your promise, for you are righteous.
[00:03:33] Please be seated.
[00:03:38] The story is told of a guy driving a Ferrari too fast.
[00:03:48] You've got a Ferrari, you can drive it fast, right? But he was driving his Ferrari in the foothills of the Alps in northern Italy. It's kind of the area, if you're James Bond aficionados, it's. They often film in that area, really windy roads in the mountains, you know what I mean? And he's just driving too fast. He's shooting around these corners, round this bend, round that bend, until he comes to this sharp bend, and he doesn't get round the bend. And his Ferrari shoots out off the road and begins to crash down the mountainside. Miraculously, he is thrown out of his car as the car goes crashing down into the valley. And he manages to hold on to a troop tree.
[00:04:32] It's the only tree on a sheer cliff face. And here he is holding on to a tree as he watches his Ferrari crash into the valley below.
[00:04:43] And he looks up 100ft more back to the road. He looks down more than 100ft down to the foot of the valley. And he looks left, sheer.
[00:04:58] He looks right, sheer cliff face. What does he do? Well, he does the only thing he can do, holding onto the tree. He shouts at the top of his voice and he shouts, hello, Is there anybody up there?
[00:05:12] And amazingly, there's an answer straight away, yes, my child, this is God.
[00:05:23] Let go and I will catch you.
[00:05:28] And he looks up and he looks down and he looks left and he looks right and he shouts, is there anybody else up there?
[00:05:42] That's pretty much where Nehemiah was at the beginning of our story, as we've gone through this book together.
[00:05:51] He had to let go.
[00:05:54] He could not do this in his own strength as he approached the king, as we read about that in Nehemiah Chapter one, I mean, that's a big moment.
[00:06:03] So many things could go wrong. Asking the king to go back to Jerusalem to build the wall.
[00:06:10] As he gets there, and he goes out at night looking around the walls, there are enemies around.
[00:06:15] He's having to let go. He's having to do this in God's strength and not his own. And then, of course, there's all the gossip and he has to deal with all the voices. He has to trust in God.
[00:06:27] He has to declare, in other words, you are the Lord and you alone.
[00:06:33] But now the wall is built.
[00:06:37] By chapter nine, the wall is already built. And they're beginning to praise God and say, thank you, God, for this miracle, for this amazing moment where the wall completed. You are the Lord, you alone. He is the Lord. He is Lord of Lords. He is King of kings. Right?
[00:06:58] He is the beginning and the end. We have that same declaration today, church. You are the Lord, you alone. That's our cry. That's our declaration as we look to buy a whole campus.
[00:07:13] By the way, is it only me or is Joel going a bit gray?
[00:07:18] Hey.
[00:07:20] As we look to buy a whole campus, you are the Lord, you alone. We kind of have to let go of our own strength and trust God. So it's the same declaration for us today. You are the Lord, you alone. That's what we do in our worship every week. That's a declaration to God. We come here to worship him. We come here to give him glory for what he has done in our lives.
[00:07:41] And just as Nehemiah and the people were declaring that in the book of Nehemiah, those words ring out through history. You are the Lord and you alone.
[00:07:51] We belong to the biggest family in the world. Do you know that? By a long way. The biggest faith family in the world. And all of them today around the world are declaring the same phrase. You are the Lord, you alone. The worship that is going up around the world today. As the sun rose this morning over the islands of Kiribati in the Pacific Ocean, they were the first to see the new sunrise this morning.
[00:08:22] In fact, Christmas island, just on the eastern edge of Kiribati, was the first to see this new day.
[00:08:28] Earlier today, they were the first to witness the sunrise. And on this Sunday, they were the first to worship as the sun was went round.
[00:08:38] Around 108,000 believers will be worshipping today in Kiribati. That is 90% of the population.
[00:08:47] Think about that. Let me say that again. That's 90% of the population of Kiribati are worshipping Jesus Christ today.
[00:08:56] And do you know the reason for that? Well, the reason for that is actually to do with our nation, because we sent missionaries to what was then called the Gilbert Islands and the people came to Christ.
[00:09:07] What a heritage, what an inheritance to have 108,000 believers, 90% of the population, and Very soon after Kiribati, New Zealand gets to welcome the new day. And there there's about 1.7 million additional believers worshiping Jesus Christ today. And then further round to Australia, a further 12.2 million people are worshipping Jesus in our brothers and sisters. And so as we go around the world, as we welcome this day, now it's our turn worshiping Jesus, declaring, you are the Lord, you alone. We belong to the biggest family in the world. From the rising of the sun to the setting of the same. The name of the Lord is to be praised. To be praised.
[00:09:59] That's what we're doing today. Part of 2.3 billion believers in the world today worshiping Jesus Christ. You know, we're never away from home. We can go anywhere in the world and we're still at home because we've still got our brothers and sisters, we've still got believers wherever we go. Whatever the geography, whatever the politics, that is absolutely true. But sometimes it doesn't feel like that.
[00:10:23] And for Nehemiah, I'm pretty sure it did not feel like that. As he was setting out on his venture, he may have felt very much alone as he was seeking to rebuild these walls, having to survey at night, having to deal with the gossip, but he wasn't alone. God was with him. God was with him. And as Nehemiah let go of his own strength and trusted in God, a whole nation came back to Jerusalem. A whole nation worshiped again as the walls were rebuilt. And as we've read, it wasn't just the walls. The law of the Lord was rediscovered.
[00:11:02] Feasts that had been neglected were reinstated. Worship was re established.
[00:11:08] They read from the Word for a quarter of the day. Just think about that reading from the Word of God for a quarter of the day. You know, when we read this Word and the Holy Spirit comes upon it, there is revival.
[00:11:23] The Word and the Spirit equal revival. Right through history, that's the story. When the Word gets out, there is revival.
[00:11:34] When the Word is held back and suddenly God breaks through and somehow people get the Word of God, there is revival. That's the story of this book.
[00:11:43] And that's true for each one of us. You know, we can read this and it's just words without the Holy Spirit.
[00:11:50] But when we ask God to help us, this is life.
[00:11:53] This is life. And that was what was happening to Nehemiah. That was what was happening to the people in Jerusalem as they read the Word of God. The result of reading the Word of God was actually confession and repentance.
[00:12:05] It Was saying, I want that relationship with God and nothing in the way.
[00:12:10] And that's my cry. What about you?
[00:12:13] What about you?
[00:12:15] Do you want that relationship with him? So that when you go to the Word, it's just so precious Because God, the Holy Spirit is bringing those words to life and causing us to live as God intended us to live. That's the way I want to live.
[00:12:30] How about you?
[00:12:33] I don't want this just to be words. I want God, the Holy Spirit to speak to me through the word of God. I want to be disciplined in how I study, in how I go through God's word. That I would have all that God has got for me. I don't want to miss a moment of it. How about you?
[00:12:49] That God would do that in our lives as he did with Nehemiah, as he did with those people.
[00:12:57] The law of the Lord rediscovered, feast reinstated, worship re established.
[00:13:06] Knowing him so that we can worship with a clean heart and an open heart.
[00:13:12] Only you, you, Lord, you alone. So there was an awakening of holiness in the people of God. There was an awakening, an awareness of sinfulness and a confession and a returning to the Lord. And as they returned to the Lord, as they read the Word, as they gathered together, the result of all of that was worship, worship and worship and worship. And it went on and on. We read it, it went on and on. The whole day was a day of worship to God.
[00:13:40] Oh, that we would always be a people of worship. I love this place. This is a house of worship. I love that we get to worship here. I love these guys. The amount of work they put in should not be understated, but praise God. It's God, the Holy Spirit, that does the work.
[00:13:57] It's God that brings about that desire to worship him. We are here to worship him. And so we read in this passage that now we. The wall is built. In fact, the wall was built in 52 days. Just 52. That's all it took from beginning to end. Why? Because God was with them. Amazing what revivals can do. That's my prayer. That's my prayer as we go for college court. That God would deal with it in that time frame that God would come to our rescue, find that money that we can do all that God has for us. Historians calculate that it was approximately 140 years from the time of Jerusalem's capture and everyone going into exile to the time when the wall was finally built. It was 140 years or so. And Nehemiah would have known that. He would have known the Stories of what was true 140 years ago. He would have known the stories of the temple, he would have known the stories of worship. He would have known the stories of a faithful people, because they never forgot that even in exile. You see it in the Psalms, even in exile, they're saying, we know, we remember. We remember what God has done by the rivers of Babylon. We remember what God did in Jerusalem. And so that's kind of written into Nehemiah's DNA. And that really is his vision. He knows that this can be again what it was 140 years ago. I had a bit of fun. I thought I'd go back 140 years for our nation, for Christianity as it was 140 years ago, and see what was around.
[00:15:39] And I found some fun stuff. It was just at the end of what was called the Second Great Awakening that mainly affected the east coast of America. There was a guy there called Charles Finney. He was a lawyer by trade, and God met him one night. He actually got baptized in the Holy Spirit without knowing there was something called baptism in the Holy Spirit, which is pretty awesome. And he describes in his autobiography how waves of liquid love came over him as he met the Holy Spirit in power. Well, he gave up his legal practice. He started preaching. It was an incredible time.
[00:16:14] He just had the Holy Spirit on him. You could see it, you could sense it. One time he was sitting in a railway carriage quietly reading his newspaper, and this guy came into the carriage and sat next to him. And suddenly the guy's on the floor repenting, what must I do to be saved? And Charles Finney, still reading his newspaper, such was the Holy Spirit's presence upon this man of God. One time a man came into one of the meetings with a gun to kill him. He got about halfway up the aisle before he fell to the floor under the power of the Holy Spirit and got saved.
[00:16:48] Finney used to send out his teams into New York. A lot of the work was in New York. And they would bring in the drunks from New York, all the drunks, and they would bring them in and they'd get them sober, and they'd get them to the meeting and they'd get them saved. And then the next morning, they'd send them home to their particularly amazed families.
[00:17:07] So that was 140 years ago. 140 years ago, D.L. moody was in this nation. He was an American revivalist preacher. Incredible guy, really powerful preaching. In London alone, he had 285 meetings with approximately 2.5 million people listening to his words and many of them coming to Christ. What was it that caused DL Moody to be that man? Well, actually, what happened was just a little bit earlier, when he was with a friend in Dublin, and they were walking on a beach near Dublin, and his friend Henry Varley said these words. It was just a passing comment. They were just talking. And Henry Varley said, what God could do with a man wholly committed to him.
[00:17:51] What God could do with a man wholly committed to him. And in his diary that night, D.L. moody wrote these words.
[00:17:59] I determine to be that man.
[00:18:03] I determine to be that man.
[00:18:06] How about you?
[00:18:08] Can we be men and women determined to follow all that God has got for us, all that God is calling us to not to miss a breath, not to miss a moment of God's purposes for us? 140 years ago, Charles Spurgeon was around. He had the first megachurch metropolitan tabernacle in London. He had prime ministers and princes in his congregation. He had so many people coming to his meetings that the regulars had to go outside to worship, to let everybody in. He was an anointed preacher. Quite cheeky, very funny in his preaching. This is my favorite quote of Charles Spurgeon.
[00:18:52] There is enough dust on some of your Bibles to write the word damnation with your fingers.
[00:19:00] Hmm.
[00:19:02] Remarkable time. That was about 140 years ago. Also 140 years ago, there was William Booth. This is what William Booth said. While women weep, as they do now, I will fight. While little children go hungry, I will fight. While men go into prison, in and out, in and out as they do now, I will fight While there is a drunkard left, While there is a poor girl lost on the streets, While there remains one soul without the light of God, I will fight. I will fight to the very end. His legacy is the Salvation Army.
[00:19:34] That was 140 years ago.
[00:19:36] More recent than that, we have Azusa Street. At the turn of the century in America, that really was an outpouring of the Holy Spirit in a remarkable way. Speaking in tongues was particularly strong there. There was a journalist went to one of the meetings intent on writing a really critical article for the newspaper. And as he got into the meeting, partway through the meeting, a woman stood up and she started speaking in tongues. It wasn't her normal prayer language. It was a different one.
[00:20:03] And he realized it was the language of his parents. He'd come from East Europe, and it was one of the Eastern European languages. And she appeared to be looking at him as she was saying these words. And the words were Telling him exactly what he'd done wrong in his life.
[00:20:20] So at the end of the meeting, he went up to this woman and rather thankfully found she didn't understand what she said. So there wasn't any condemnation on him. But he wrote a very different article for the newspaper.
[00:20:31] The Welsh revivals were around at the same time. Crazy meetings. Evan Roberts led those meetings. What a crazy man. There was crying, shouting, singing, laughing, all the things. We just looked out of control. And yet Evan Roberts had prayed for 100,000 people in Wales to come to Jesus Christ. God answered his prayer.
[00:20:50] Over 100,000 came to Christ. In fact, after the revival finished, he came and lived in Leicester and prayed for our city. These are the stories. Do you know these stories? These are the stories of our land. These are the stories of our nation.
[00:21:05] This is our inheritance.
[00:21:07] This is our history.

[00:21:23] What prophetic words have we got over our city? What is God doing here? What is God doing in our nation? What has God done and what will God do? That's exactly what Nehemiah was doing. He knew what God had done and therefore, because he's God, he could do it again.
[00:21:39] Can he not do that for us?
[00:21:42] Is he too small a God to bring the money through for College Court? Is he too small a God for us to see revival in this city? We've got revival with a small R. I'm so praying it's with a capital R that thousands come to Jesus Christ in this city.
[00:21:58] Historically, 140 years is not that long ago. This is our history. So today we cry out. Today we say, God, would you do it again? And he is doing it again. We're in what's called a quiet revival at the moment. That's what the press have called it. I hope it gets noisy. But we are in a time when God is moving, particularly amongst Gen Z.
[00:22:18] Gen Z, if you want to be American.
[00:22:21] 87% rise in Bible sales in this country over the last eight years, driven by a younger generation. 87% rise in the word of God. That's just incredible. Even in France, just across the water there, France is renowned for its secularism, and yet even there, Bible sales are off the charts. Publishers are calling it Le Boume Biblique.
[00:22:47] I rather like that.
[00:22:48] We have a boom biblique in France right now. God is on the move. In Southampton recently, 600 people turned up for an Alpha course, an Introduction to Jesus course. On one night in London, there were queues around the block for the Easter services at many of the churches. God is on the move and he's on the move today, guys. I don't have to go back 140 years because he's doing it now. But I need to know what God has done to say he can do it again.
[00:23:16] Let's know the purposes of God for our nation. Here's Karen. Karen is a friend of mine. She works for Mission 24, which is a very dear organization.
[00:23:30] This is what Karen said just in the last year, I have witnessed God's.
[00:23:36] I have witnessed God's power heal blind eyes and leukemia. This last year I have seen him power people out of wheelchairs, remove lumps and cancerous tumors, restore speech and freedom of movement to the brain damaged, restore stroke victims and give an instep to a flat footed toddler. Ha. I love that. Isn't that amazing? And guys, that's today. That's this last year. God did that and he's doing these things here. We have people in our congregation here who are walking miracles. Did you know that?
[00:24:10] Cancer's gone, brain tumour's gone, heart's restored. God is a God who heals. That's why we do it every week. God is a God who heals. God is a God who declares his power, his authority right here in our midst. And that is what God is doing today. So we live in times of revival.
[00:24:31] We can enjoy a summer of glory.
[00:24:35] We can enjoy a summer of glory. In fact, let's make that plural. Let's enjoy lots of summers of glory as God, the Holy Spirit, does his work. Are you up for that?
[00:24:44] That's your God? Are you really up for that? You don't seem so sure that's your God. He is the God of Finney and Moody and Booth and Spurgeon. But he's the God now who is changing lives. He's the God now who's turning people around. The God now who's pulling people out of poverty, out of drugs, out of drink, and turning them round and giving them life. That is our God.
[00:25:09] That is the God we worship every Sunday. So today, 2.3 billion people have joined us in worship, declaring that he still saves, he still heals, he still changes, he still brings revival. We are the largest, most diverse community on the earth.
[00:25:33] We are global. We are Revolutionary. From the rising of the sun to its setting, the Lord's name is to be praised.
[00:25:42] That's what happened much earlier in Kiribati in the Pacific and rolled on through New Zealand and Australia and Asia and Europe to US and round to the Americas later.
[00:25:57] God will be praised today by 2.3 billion people. You are not on your own, guys may seem like that sometimes in the things that we face, but you're not on your own. God is with you. And what is true 140 years ago, just as for Nehemiah, can be true today.
[00:26:21] A God who changes lives and brings revival. You can be Pentecostal for a minute and say hallelujah.
[00:26:31] I just want to finish by looking at a few of the statements that Nehemiah believed.
[00:26:40] When a preacher says he's wanting to finish, it usually means he's got about 20 minutes to go. But we'll set that aside.
[00:26:47] Number one, Nehemiah was aware of God's promises.
[00:26:52] Number two, he was aware of Israel's failures.
[00:26:57] Number three, despite the failures, he was aware of Israel's former greatness.
[00:27:02] And number four, he was aware of God's greatness. That God can do it again.
[00:27:09] Firstly, he was aware of God's promises. We know that right from the beginning in Nehemiah, in chapter one, when he's praying, he's reminding God of his promises. He's saying, God, this is what should happen. This is what it was like 140 years ago. Why is it not like this now? God, I remind you of your promises. You are the God of Abraham. We read that. You are the God of Moses. It's all in that passage. A little later on, he's reminding God of his promises. If we ask for bread, will he give us a stone?
[00:27:37] Of course not. It's a rhetorical question.
[00:27:39] If we ask for bread, he's not going to give us a stone. Our story, my story, rose story, is one of being given bread.
[00:27:48] We were working, lived in Peterborough, a church there. We planted out a church in to Leicester. And for us it didn't work.
[00:27:57] It didn't work. It was a hard time, really personal hard time.
[00:28:01] And the dear church in Peterborough said, oh, come back, come back. But we knew we were called to Leicester and therefore we knew we had to find a new home.
[00:28:12] And that was tough.
[00:28:14] That was really tough. When you'd been at a church for 18 years as we had been, that was a really hard time for us. But I'd got to know a few of the leaders in the city and I knew at least three churches I thought would be suitable, if that's the right word. And so I took row to all three churches. I didn't say anything myself and I left my favorite of the three till last.
[00:28:35] And so on week three, we came through the doors here at Cromer and we sat at the back. And as we sat at the back God just began to wreck me.
[00:28:50] The Holy Spirit just came on me. I knew this was home and I could see Ro was finding it wonderful too.
[00:28:58] But I was a wreck. I was an absolute wreck. I was sitting actually where that lady is in the white dress just at the back there. That's a very dangerous seat.
[00:29:07] So just be careful of that. Right. That is where God began to move as I sat there that day. Now I had done the Christian thing because I'd made sure that people knew I was on a sabbatical.
[00:29:22] Often the word sabbatical means leave me alone.
[00:29:27] It's Christianese for leave me alone.
[00:29:29] But Juliet, Pastor Juliet didn't obey the rules.
[00:29:39] She ignored the fact that I'd said we were on a sabbatical, leave me alone and came over and started to pray for us. She knew me vaguely from some of the leaders meetings and she just began to pray over us and she prophesied over us. And the words she brought that morning only we knew and only God knew. And there she was speaking words into our lives that revolutionized our lives. It revolutionized what God was doing for us, for me, for Ro, in a most remarkable way. That was eight years ago. I am so happy to be part of this amazing community that calls itself Cromer Church. What a privilege to worship here. What a privilege to be part of this church. Guys, this is not. I've been a Christian for 56 years, this church. I'd like to say it's usual but it's unusual for the presence of the Holy Spirit. This is a thin place. When you come in here you know the presence of God.
[00:30:35] When we worship, there's something special about that worship. We know the presence of God, God is with us.
[00:30:45] So yes, dangerous place at the back there.
[00:30:51] The Lord loves boldness and he loved Nehemiah's boldness in reminding him of his promises. But secondly, Nehemiah was aware of Israel's failures. It's in the same passage. If we read a bit further on we see that he talks about them being a stiff necked people not obeying God. So he's aware of Israelites failures but he's also number three aware of Israel's Former greatness. He reminds God about Abraham. He reminds God about Moses, Joseph, Joshua, all in that passage.
[00:31:24] We know our history.
[00:31:27] We know what God has done in our nation.
[00:31:30] And the nations, those islands in Kiribati are worshipping Jesus today because we sent missionaries.
[00:31:37] We know what God has done through the years in this place, in what we call the United Kingdom. Do you know all those stories? If not, go look them up. Go let them stir you. We are the nation of Wesley and Whitefield. We are the nation of John Wesley and George Whitefield who turned this nation upside down. About a third of the nation came to Jesus Christ. They were the headlines in the papers. It was a remarkable time. We are an island of revival. Revival after revival after revival have happened in these lands. Welsh revival, Hebridean revival, East Anglia revival. These are all things that didn't happen that long ago. We are a missionary sending place. This is our heritage. This is our inheritance, guys. This is the place we live. Did you know that?
[00:32:23] Did you know what God has promised for us? Do you know the promises that are still to be fulfilled? Do you know the prophetic words over our nation?
[00:32:32] That's what Nehemiah did.
[00:32:34] And so number four. So firstly, he was aware of God's promises. Secondly, aware of Israel's failures. But despite that, aware of Israel's former greatness. And finally aware of God's greatness that he can do it again. He can do it again. He can do it again in my life, in yours, he can do it again corporately as a church, if you're struggling today, he can do it again in your life.
[00:32:57] He can do it again in your life. Personally, for you, whatever you're facing, wherever you are right now, God is big enough.
[00:33:07] God is great enough. You are the Lord. You alone. You've made heaven, the heaven of heavens with all their hosts. The earth and all that is on it, the sea and all that is in them. And you preserve all of them. And the hosts of heaven worship you. And you have kept your promise. For you are righteous.
[00:33:26] That's our God.
[00:33:29] That's our God. He keeps his promises.
[00:33:33] He keeps his promises. Don't give up.
[00:33:37] Don't give up.
[00:33:40] Keep going whatever it is you're facing. We have a God who is greater.
[00:33:47] As a church, as we look to buy land and build, we have a God who is greater. You are the Lord. You alone. That was the declaration Nehemiah and the people of Israel made that day as they worshiped him. You are the Lord. You alone. Should we say that together? You are the Lord, you alone. Bit louder. You are the Lord, you alone. As we face any of you facing an unseen we can say together, you are the Lord, you alone. As we look for jobs as we consider bank accounts that don't add up, we can declare you are the Lord, you alone. As we deal with any family conflict we can declare you are the Lord, you alone. As we deal with any sickness we can declare you are the Lord, you alone. As we deal with any post Covid loneliness, any depression we declare you are the Lord, you alone and corporately Cromer Church as we seek miracle finance we declare you are the Lord, you alone. We know the God who created the sunrise skies.
[00:35:05] We know the God who created the sun, the sunrise. The God who is worshipped by a family of 2.3 billion people today.
[00:35:18] Can he not do these things?
[00:35:20] Can he not do these things? This is a God who redeemed a people to build a city this is a God who redeemed a people to build a city and create a worldwide family.
[00:35:33] And we are a worldwide family of people rescued through death on a cross.
[00:35:40] You are the Lord, you alone.
