[00:00:09] I want to talk to you about defining reality and I want to tell you this story. Many years ago, we lived in a little town. Well, first of all, I was born and raised in Sunnyville, San Jose, California. You probably heard of San Francisco Bay Area. So I was born in the city and I'll try to make this part short, but we got married in 1975 and a year and a half later I had a nervous breakdown and it got really, really bad. So we moved to the mountains and we had been fishing at this little town called Lewiston, which just three, which 900 people live in Lewiston, California. And anyway, longer story for another day, but I eventually got delivered in that little town and then I became the volunteer youth pastor in Weaverville before Bill came. The year before Bill came to our little town in Weaverville, we had this little church, this little assembly of God Church with 40 people in it. So when Bill came to weaverville, there was 40 people in our church. And we could tell when the spirit moved because we had Grandma Kail, she was about £400 and she was the only person that knew about prophecy, sorta.
[00:01:22] She was American Pentecostal. And she would, whenever the spirit moved, she would stand up and prophesy three different themes. She didn't like women with makeup, she didn't like women that wore pants, and she didn't like movies. So she rotated those themes.
[00:01:40] Yeah, it was a lot of fun. And if the spirit moved while someone was preaching, that didn't matter because she was like under the anointing and she would prophesy like this.
[00:01:53] It was louder than that though. And she would shake.
[00:01:57] And because she was heavy, when she stopped shaking, she'd still be shaking quite some time.
[00:02:09] You heard of people getting carried away.
[00:02:12] Well, the year Bill came, she got carried away and six guys carried her out and she never came back. Yeah, that was the end of the prophetic movement. We killed it right there. Been sad ever since. But anyway, I became our youth pastor. Kathy and I were for nine years volunteer youth pastors in our little church. And our youth group grew really large and we ended up getting a full time youth pastor anyway that stories say at the end of that nine years of pastoring young people, which we just truly love. I was looking for something else, like, lord, I'd love to have something else to do. And I felt the Lord tell me. We were living in Weaverville, which is in the mountains, 3,000 people. And we had moved from Lewiston, that little town of 900 I told you about. And 750 of those 900 people live in a subdivision that they built when they built a dam there. So when the workers were building the dam, the. The construction company built a little town for the workers. So. And that subdivision, it houses 750 people. So the Lord said to me, I want you to go to Lewiston, and I want you to pray. I'm like, all right.
[00:03:28] How long? He said, till I tell you so. I'm okay. So. And he said, here's what I want you to do. I want you to go. I want you to be inconspicuous. I don't want you to talk into anyone. I want you to walk the streets and pray. And I'm gonna show you something.
[00:03:42] So I started going Sunday nights. I would go like, so. And this little town is. I have to tell you about this little town. So there's Mount. There's Lewiston's in the Mountains. Tourney elves. And it sits in a little bit of a valley of the mountains. And there's at nighttime, if there's no moon, it is pitch dark. And because it sits in a valley at night, if you go, hello. It'll go, hello. Hello. Hello. Hello. So it's really kind of cool and creepy.
[00:04:11] So I went to Lewiston, and I just started walking the streets. And you can literally. The streets are called First Street, Second Street, Third Street. And you can walk all six streets in exactly one hour if you could walk slow.
[00:04:25] And the Lord said, don't talk to anybody. So I start walking in the middle of the winter, and it's cold, and I'm walking. Actually, I start in spring, and I'm walking. And at 1, 2, I go for an hour. I drive over there. It takes 15 minutes to get there. And I walk by myself and I pray. And I'm like, have you ever did something? Because out of obedience.
[00:04:45] So I'm just doing this out of pure obedience. Like, I'm not passionate about it. I'm not Lou Ingalls prayer guy. You know, I've prayed once, but, you know, not twice. But so I'm just walking and I'm praying, and I'm just, like. I walk one street and I turn, I walk the other street. It's, you know, it's always dusk. Cause I go. So there's no one talking to me. And I do this, and I'm like. I'm thinking, I'm gonna do this for, like, you know, like a month. So a month passes, and two months pass and three months pass, and I'M like, lord, how long am I gonna do this for? And he's like, till I tell you. All right, four months pass, and it's, like, really boring. Like, can you tell I'm adhd?
[00:05:28] Like, it's really boring. Like, there's like, I like to talk to people, so. And then the Lord's like, don't talk to anyone. So I'm walking, I'm praying. Well, by month five, I'm like, this could be my life.
[00:05:44] I better get serious about this. I mean, like, I better get engaged. Cause I'm totally doing it completely out of obedience. So, month. I think it's month four or five, I start walking and praying. But now I'm, like, connected. I'm like, okay, I thought I was gonna do this for a couple of months. I'm gonna be obedient. The Lord's gonna reward my obedience. And now I'm like, no, that doesn't feel like what we're doing. So I start walking and praying. And as I'm praying again, I'm not praying out loud. I'm not making a scene. And I walk past this house, and I stop. And I'm trying to get more like, okay, what are we doing? And as I start doing that, the Lord. And by the way, I forgot to tell you this part. Lord. Lewiston is the worst town in our entire county. They call it the armpit of Trinity County. It's where the prostitution is. It's where the drugs are. This little town has attracted almost all.
[00:06:38] Most of the crime is coming out of this little town. In fact, the crime's so bad, they actually put a deputy in a town of 700 people. Like, he actually lives there. So I'm walking, and I get to the. In front of this house, and I'm like. I feel the stop. And I'm like, okay, stop. And now I'm praying, and the Lord says, there's a prostitute in this house. And so I start praying for her.
[00:07:00] And then the next time I walked past her house, I remember. So I stopped, and the Lord said, she was molested as a child. And he starts giving me her background. And I start sincerely praying for her. Lord, pray that you would break this spirit of immorality over her life that was perpetuated on her. And then pretty soon, I'm walking, and the Lord stop here. And I stop at this next. You know, a few houses later. And the Lord's like, there's three children being molested in this house. And. And then I. I walk to the son's House. And the Lord's like, these people are drug addicted. And then I, you know, now I'm walking neighborhood. And this. These people are in a satanic cult. And pretty soon I. So, like, I'm so getting connected to. To it that I can. You can. The roads are straight. You can actually close your eyes and walk. There's no traffic, literally. So I'm walking down the sidewalk and. And I could tell you what house I'm in front of by the spirit that I can sense in it. So the Lord's teaching me discernment.
[00:07:58] And now I'm getting their story. Like, every time I pray for them, I get more of their story. How many know that oftentimes until you walk in someone's shoes, you actually don't know why they are the way they are. And sometimes you see the manifestation of years of abuse, but you don't know about the abuse. And so now I'm walking and I'm like, in month seven, month eight, month nine. And I look forward to going because I am like, I'm weeping over the homes. And oftentimes somebody will go with me. They're like, hey, I heard you're praying in Lewiston. I'm like, yeah, I want to go with you. I'm like, it's really boring. Like, literally, you don't want to go. They all know we want to go. Well, no one's ever come back twice.
[00:08:44] And I've never had more than one person with me. Like, they just know that I go. So they come like, what are you doing? I'm praying over Lewiston. Oh, I wanna go with you. Oh, no, you really don't.
[00:08:55] Anyway, a year goes by. It's wintertime. There's a foot of snow on the ground. There's no moon that night. It's dark. When I say dark, if someone's standing this close to you, you can't see them. It's that dark.
[00:09:13] And Sunday after church, about 20 people come up and they go, hey, what are you doing? I'm like, lewiston. I'm like, I'm just walking and praying. They're like, we want to go with you. I'm always saying, like, no, actually, you don't. They're like, no, God told us to go with you. So we get to Lewiston, there's 20 people with me. Like, I've never had more than one. And I've never had one come back again.
[00:09:37] So I'm like, you don't want to come with? Well, there's a big gym in Lewiston. It's about the size of this room, actually. It hasn't been opened in 30 years, 40 years. Like it was built for the. When they built the dam.
[00:09:49] And so I said, meet me in front of the gym. Everybody knows where the gym is. So I said, just meet me in front of the gym. So we get to the gym, there's 20, maybe 18, 20 of them. It's pitch dark. So I say to them, okay, so, you know, you guys, here's. You three go to, you know, to first street. You guys go to Second street. You guys go to Third street, and we'll meet at the gym. And in front of the gym is a field about twice this size. And it's just grow overgrown with weeds. Like, you can't. It's. You know, it's just like this high in weeds. And so they go. Everybody goes. And I say, you don't talk to anyone. I give them instructions.
[00:10:28] Don't pray out loud, you know, don't, like, in Jesus name, don't do any of that crazy stuff. Just. Just be English. So everybody's famous for something. You just don't know it.
[00:10:52] And so they all go. And, you know, again, there's so many of them and so few streets that in. In half an hour, they're done. I said, meet at the gym. So we'll all meet at the gym. So we meet at the gym, and by the time we get to the gym, like, it's a little dusk while they're walking. But by the time they get to the gym, it is pitch dark. So I said, okay, let's circle up before we go and let's pray. So we circle up, we grab hands, and we start to pray. And the second we start to pray out of the field behind us, I hear a hundred times louder than that. And it's pitch dark.
[00:11:31] It's winter, it's cold, and it echoes. So it's going really loud. And it's the kind. It sounds like someone's being murdered in the field. So we stop our hair. Like, it's that kind of, like, hair standing up. It's really creepy. And the whole team goes, I'm going home.
[00:11:58] And I'm scared of death, too. And I'm like, no, no, no. You wanted to come here. You are praying with me. They go, no, no, I'm going home. I said, no, no, you're praying with me. So as soon as we stopped praying, it stopped. So we grab hands again and we start to pray. And the moment we start to pray, it goes.
[00:12:15] And, oh, we stop and as soon as we stop, it stops.
[00:12:20] And now the team's like, I am really going home. And I'm like, you are really not leaving me alone here.
[00:12:26] So I said, listen, let's do this. Let's pray. And when it gets loud, let's get louder. Let's just go after God. And they're like, okay, so we start praying. As soon as we start praying, like, the second we start praying, it goes. And we're like. And at first we're like, the blood of Jesus sets us free. The blood of Jesus sets us free. You know, so scared you can't think of what to even pray. You know, I think it's Jesus. Was it Jesus? Maybe it was Joshua. I don't remember.
[00:12:56] It's that kind of thing. Like, I. I am physically shaking. I'm physically shaking. It's super creepy. And the person that I'm holding hands with, I literally can't see. I can't see them. It's that dark. So. So it's really creepy. So we're praying, and the voice goes. We're like, in the blood of Jesus. In the blood of Jesus. And pretty soon something happens to us. Like, I can't explain it, but something happens to us. And the voice is getting louder, and so. And we're getting louder, but something shifted in everybody at the same time. And suddenly this holy boldness, I would say not human holy boldness, came over us. And all of a sudden, we're going from the blood of Jesus sets us free to the blood of Jesus sets us free. We break the power of this principality over. And the thing's going, whoa. And we're going, in Jesus name We cast the spirit out in Jesus day We pay the blood over lucid nothing.
[00:13:45] This goes on for five minutes now. Have you ever been in a war for five minutes? It feels like half an hour it's going on. We're going louder. It's getting louder. It's echoing. The whole warfare is echoing over the whole town.
[00:13:59] And pretty soon we're praying. We break this bow right now. The blood of Jesus frees the city. And all of a sudden, it goes and stops.
[00:14:17] And so they're going. We're going, I'm going, oh, no, no.
[00:14:20] Let's pray again. We pray. It's gone.
[00:14:25] That was Sunday.
[00:14:27] Monday morning, I get a call from the probation department, who I know the head of the probation department. His name's Dick. Maybe he's not a Christian. He calls me and says, hey, we're doing something in Lewiston. We are meeting with all the kids who are on probation. We have 37 kids on probation, and they've all violated their probation. And we're gonna either send them back to juvenile hall, or the choice they have is we'll send you back to juvenile hall, or your parents can come to a parenting. A parenting, like, not conference, but. What would you call it? Like, class. And we're gonna put on a parenting class for six weeks, Tuesdays and Thursdays in the evening. Would you take. Would you do something with the kids for six weeks? I'm like, heck, yeah. Well, I'd love to tell you a whole bunch of that story, but it would take my entire time I have left. So I only have four hours left.
[00:15:23] But we end up there for six weeks. And then after that is over, they give us the gym. We. We sweep out the gym. There's literally an inch of dirt in there. It takes us, like, two days. We sweep the gym out. There's basketball courts and volleyball court in there. We play basketball and volleyball with the kids. And then at halftime, I share a message. So we have a halftime message, half an hour. And of course, the kids, none of them are Christians, and they're all like. I remember the first time, the very first time. We went there a couple times to clean it up, but when we opened the doors, the kids rushed in. I broke up five fist fights the first night. When I say break up, I don't mean, like, johnny, stand over there. I mean, I have to tackle him to the ground.
[00:16:03] And so. And on the way there, you know, my kids. My kids are little at the time, and I'm so scared. I have the runs when I get there. Too much information. Sorry.
[00:16:16] Americans are known for being bold and brash, and you guys are being known for.
[00:16:24] Anyway, I'll tell you this one part. So the first night, of course, it's crazy. I broke up five fights. Kathy's with me. She's trying to organize volleyball. I'm trying to organize basketball. It's a complete zoo. People are screaming and yelling. They're bringing weapons into the gym. It's like, oh, my gosh, this is a nightmare. I didn't have any idea it was gonna be like this. My kids are with me. And so we tried, you know, Kathy brought some coke, you know, Coca Cola.
[00:16:51] Let's be really careful how we say that here. They're like, hey, do you drink coffee? I'm like, no, I quit marijuana, too. It's the whole thing. I didn't smoke marijuana ever, by the way. Just being funny. So we finally get them to sit on the benches like we have these benches inside. And you know, and I'm like, I'm gonna share with them. And by the way, because it's probation department, I can't share the Bible. He said, don't beat him with the Bible, is the exact words he said, don't beat him with the Bible, meaning you can't use the Bible right now. So I talked to them about sexuality and why God gave a woman a hymen, a sack of blood, because God wanted sex to come out of covenant, so he provided the blood anyway. And I told this whole story. It's in a book called Moral Revolution. But the Lord gave me this story in 15 seconds on the way there in a vision. I shared the story that night with 37 tough kids. And the first five minutes they're like, what are we effing doing? Why do we have to sit here?
[00:17:52] And by 10 minutes into the story, they listened to the whole story, half an hour long. And at the end of the story, and the story was about the restoration of your virginity. And when I looked up the toughest kid, I'd already broken up three fights with him. He said to me in tears, no one's ever effing told me this.
[00:18:09] The toughest girl in there said the same thing. And I had 37 kids weeping over the fact that they had lost their virginity and that God was going to restore them anyway. I end up there for five years, two days a week for five years, that group grows to 120 kids. I win two community awards over it.
[00:18:37] But here's what I learned. We don't inhabit this planet. We cohabit this planet with angels and demons. And I want to tell you that most Christians don't actually believe in demons. Now, I know philosophically we do. I know theologically we do. I mean, don't matter what religion you are, as far as Christianity, I mean, you're trained that there is actually a devil. But the truth is, is that most of us don't actually believe that the devil is doing anything on the earth. And I'd like to propose that we live in a tridimensional world with a single dimensional lens. And I want to talk to you about. I want to talk to you about discernment and spiritual warfare.
[00:19:17] The Bible speaks of three heavens. In Ephesians 2, one says, you were dead in your trespasses and sins in which you formerly walk, according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, of the spirit, that is now working in the sons of disobedience. I want to point out that that's a New Testament verse. And after the resurrection, Paul still says that there is a spirit working in the sons of disobedience. And I want to show you in Genesis 1 that there's actually three heavens. In Genesis 1, God created the heavens and the earth. And we might call that the human realm or the natural realm. It's the realm of the visible that you can see. But let me say there's a lot of invisible things in the realm you can see, right? We have electricity, we have wifi, we have all these things that are invisible. So you can't say it's the visible realm only, but it includes the human realm. So in Genesis 1, God creates the heavens and the earth and we have the first heaven. And then in Ephesians, chapter two, Chapter six, it says, our struggles not against flesh and blood, but against rulers, against powers, against spiritual forces of wickedness in heavenly places. Did you notice? It's in heavenly places. You gotta give some response. Cause American speaking to you, and I don't get you guys.
[00:20:34] So in heavenly places, I'd like to propose there are no demons in God's heaven. We call this the second heaven. It's the realm that the demonic, the demonic realm leads this second heaven. And then Paul said this. He said in second Corinthians 12, 2, he said, I know a man in Christ who 14 years ago, whether in the body, I do not know. We're out of the body, I do not know. God knows. Such a man was caught up into the third heaven. So why do we number the heavens? Because Paul said there's a third heaven. If there's a third, there has to be a second and a first. It's simply math.
[00:21:08] And so I'd like to propose that you live in two heavens. When you got born again, like before you knew Christ, you were seated in the first heaven. And the second heaven was actually had power over the first heaven. When you received Christ, you were seated in heavenly places far above all principalities and powers. Ephesians, chapter 2, verse 6 says, he raised us up and seated us with him in heavenly places, so that for the ages to come, he might show the surpassing riches of the grace and kindness towards us in Christ. Ephesians 1:22 says, and he put all things in subjection under our feet and gave him his head over all things to the church, which is his body, the fullness of him who fills all in all. I'd like to point out that when you receive Christ, you got born again. And by the way, you probably know this, but you're no longer a sinner, you became a saint.
[00:22:03] One of the greatest lies in Christendom is I'm a sinner saved by grace. I'm sorry, that's not true. That statement is never mentioned in the Bible. You were a sinner and I was a sinner. We should never forget where we came from. We forget where we came from, we lose compassion for people who are still struggling. But we were sinners. And when we got saved, we got born again and we became a new creation. If any man's in Christ, he's a new creation. The word new there means prototype. It means never before created when you receive Christ. Christ, not Christ, Christ. When you receive Christ, you became a creature that was never before created. Like you are a new invention.
[00:22:42] Are you with me? And as far as we know, there may be other creatures that we don't know about, but as far as we know, you're the only people, you're the only creature that lives dual dimensionally. You live on earth and you live in heaven.
[00:22:56] Like, literally. Here we are in the uk. Is this Leicester? We're in Leicester.
[00:23:03] Sorry, I'm more like Biden than Trump in that regard.
[00:23:11] Sorry, it's an inside American joke.
[00:23:15] You're here in Leicester, but you're also in heavenly places. Listen. Far above, listen to this. Far above all principalities and powers, you're not seated in heavenly places on a chair, you're seated on a throne.
[00:23:30] And he's put all things in subjection under his feet, and he's given it to Christ. So remember, he's the head and if you might be the baby toe. But everything, all principalities and powers, and every name that's ever been named is under your feet. So it doesn't matter where you stand in the body of Christ. The lowest person in the body of Christ is still greater than anything in the second heaven.
[00:23:54] And not only that, but how many know you were created a little lower than the angels, but when you got born again, the angels serve you. Hebrews 1 says that angels are servants to those who receive salvation. So how many know that there are levels of demons in the second heaven? Jesus said, if you cast out a spirit, if you cast out an evil spirit, seven spirits more evil than the first. So how many know there are levels of evil? There are also levels of angels. You have. You have principalities, by the way. There are principalities that are evil and there are principalities that are good. There are at least three archangels, or at least there was one. Maybe one fell, maybe there's two left. But there's definitely Michael and Gabriel. And we think there was Lucifer. Lucifer, mean light bearer. And one of the angels fell and one third of the angels fell with them. My point is, is that you have principalities and powers. When Paul says our struggle's not against flesh and blood, but against rulers, against power, against world forces of darkness. How many understand he's not fighting demons.
[00:24:57] He's a world changer. And he's in a war with world forces of darkness. He's in a war with principalities. Are you with me? So you have principalities. You have different levels of spirits in the demonic realm. Why am I telling you all that? Because you are over all demonic spirits, including principalities. He's put all those, but how many understand? And every name, every name that's ever been named in this age and the one to come. So now you're not just in heavenly places, you're in heavenly places with Christ.
[00:25:30] Far above all principalities, meaning whether they're demonic or whether they're angelic. Are you with me? You have authority. How many understand you have authority? Jesus said, all authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth. How many know in heaven wouldn't have been a revelation to the disciples, but on earth would have been. Because how many know when Adam and Eve ate the fruit, they didn't just disobey God, they obeyed the devil. God said, don't eat the fruit. The devil said, eat the fruit. And when they ate the fruit, they changed masters. How many know God gave the earth to the sons of men? The heavens, the highest heavens belong to the Lord, but the earth was given to the what sons of men. So remember the first commission to Adam and Eve. Be fruitful, multiply and take dominion of the earth. What happened when Adam fell is he changed masters and no longer was the Lord the. The God of this world because Adam was given authority and Adam gave it to. To the devil.
[00:26:37] So in Luke 4 and Matthew 4 is the story of Jesus in the wilderness. Remember this? He was 40 days in the wilderness. The devil came to him on the 40th day and he said, if you bow down and worship me. The devil said, if you bow down and worship me, I will give you all the kings of the world. For they've been what handed over to me. Who handed them over to him? Adam.
[00:26:55] So why did God had to become. Why did God have to become a man? Because the Son of God had to Become a son of man so that sons of men could become sons of God.
[00:27:06] So when Jesus came, when Jesus, he had to defeat the devil as a man, because God gave authority to men for the earth. So when Jesus rose from the grave, he took away the keys. Not a key, the keys of the kingdom that were given by Adam to the devil.
[00:27:23] And he took back authority.
[00:27:26] The word authority in the Greek is something like exousia. How many understand the devil has power. Jesus said, I'm going to give you power over all the power of the evil one. That word power is the word dudamus. We get our word dynamite. But he said, I'm gonna give you power over all the power of the evil one.
[00:27:43] So think about it. In America, it's like a police officer has a badge. He has authority, exousia. And he has a gun.
[00:27:53] In England, they have a st.
[00:28:03] I don't know why I don't ever get invited back after I preach in England.
[00:28:07] My point is, is that you have power. You have a gun, but you have authority. You have a badge. The only way the devil has authority on earth is when you deputize him.
[00:28:21] And you deputize him by agreeing with him.
[00:28:25] And you know that you've deputized them. When you have fear in your life. Because fear is faith in the wrong God.
[00:28:31] You can't have fear without faith.
[00:28:34] No, I'm saying fear is actually a manifestation. It's not the actual thing. Fear is the manifestation of faith that you put in the wrong God. Think about this. If a little boy comes up and says, I'm gonna beat you up, I don't have any anxiety. You know why? I don't believe him. But if some gangster comes up and says, I'm gonna beat you up, I have anxiety. Why? Cause I believe him. Same words. What's the difference? I empowered that spirit, and now I have the manifestation, which is fear.
[00:29:03] Isaiah 54 says, Oppression will be far from you, for you will not fear. How many know fear attracts oppression?
[00:29:15] Do you know that when you are afraid, you're making deals with the devil?
[00:29:23] A lot of things that are called wisdom are actually fear masquerading as wisdom.
[00:29:29] Well, I just. Brother, you know, I don't want to offend people. No, that's called being a chicken.
[00:29:37] You got to cross over the chicken line to come into your destiny. Okay, here we go.
[00:29:45] There's a.
[00:29:48] There's a war over who will be worshiped. There's a war over who will shape the mindset of history.
[00:29:58] How many know that you're that we are called to make disciples of all nations. Do you know that you guys discipled nations as Christians? You disciple nations. Oh, you might have got some of it wrong. You might have colonized people in a way that shouldn't have been done. You might have done some things you shouldn't have done. Okay, let's get that, let's just, let's get that out of the way. Because when you preach in England, people are worried, so worried about their sins. They don't realize that God actually called you. Not, not talking about colonization, but he's called you to disciple nations. And that wasn't. That didn't begin in Matthew 28. That began with the call on Abraham. Abraham, you shall be the father of many nations. He didn't say you should be the father in nations. He said you'll be the father of nations. By the way, if you don't break the low self esteem that you have in England, you will know what come into your righteous call.
[00:30:47] You were called to be kings and queens. You were called to be princes and princesses. You're part of a royal family.
[00:30:53] You taught us royalty. And now you're losing the very thing you taught the world. Are you with me? And I'm not saying that to shame you. I'm saying like this needs to be broken over us. Like you were called to be nobility. You were called to be royalty. You still have equal, you still have kings. I mean, you still have a royal, even though you have a parliament. You still isn't it interesting, you still have some sort of a biblical model that there are kings and queens. Cause he's king of kings and you are some of the kings he's king over.
[00:31:22] You're small K, he's big K. You get the idea. Okay, okay, I didn't get that. Anyway, I want to show you something. Look at Ephesians 6, 10. I just quoted part of it. Finally, be strong in the Lord in the strength of his might. Put on the forearm of God so that you may be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil for our struggle. I want you to look at your Bible for a minute. Even if it's electronic or whatever, it's on your phone. Would you look at Ephesians chapter six, verse 12. I want to show you something. Ephesians chapter six, verse twelve.
[00:31:56] Kind of look up when you kind of get there. Okay, look at this. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against that first demonic spirit. In my Bible, new American standard says rulers. Some of your Bibles say Principality. Right. Okay. The word. The first word. So our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against rulers, against powers, against world forces of darkness, against spiritual forces of weakness. The first prince in that line, our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against. My Bible says rulers. That word is actually the word origin.
[00:32:33] O R G I N.
[00:32:36] In other words, your Bible may call it principality, it may call it rulers, it may call it whatever, but the Greek word is the word origin. Now, why does that matter? Because demons are named after the influence they have on humans.
[00:32:52] I just taught you something.
[00:32:55] Remember when Jesus cast out the deaf and dumb spirit and the boy could speak and hear? How many know the spirit wasn't named deaf and dumb? Jesus named it deaf and dumb because that's the influence it had over the boy.
[00:33:10] In other words, his name isn't Henry, his name isn't Mary.
[00:33:15] He's named after the influence he has on people. Are you with me? So why is the spirit. The first spirit named is usually the head spirit. Why is the first prince of piety in the demonic realm named Origen? Because that word Origen is the influence, or can I say, the responsibility of that that spirit has in the earth. Are you following me? Okay, in this is going to seem like it makes sense, but follow me for a second. In Philippians 4:15, Paul says, you yourselves know Philippians that at the first preaching of the gospel, okay, the two words first preaching.
[00:34:08] In Philippians 4, Paul says, In the first preaching, the words first preaching are actually the word origin.
[00:34:18] So Paul wrote to the Philippians, Remember when I laid the origins out to you, Paul wasn't saying, you remember when I taught the first time there. I'm saying the translation's wrong.
[00:34:31] The word origin is the word that Paul said there. I'm pointing out that what Paul did with the Philippians when he laid out the origins of the kingdom is the same spirit that is actually influencing the world. And what does that spirit do? It has. That spirit's responsibility is to question and redefine the origins of creation. It says, are you really. Are you really made in the image of God? Maybe you're an evolutionized ape.
[00:35:04] How about this one? Are you really a boy? Maybe you're a girl.
[00:35:09] Were you really made to have sex? Were you really made to have sex with a girl if you're a boy, when you have a penis and she has a vagina?
[00:35:19] Or maybe you were supposed to have sex with someone else who had a penis when ridiculous things take on logical responses, or can I say illogical responses.
[00:35:35] That are actually protected by our supreme courts and our smartest people in the world protect them. You cannot argue people out of a demonic spirit. You can only cast it out.
[00:35:47] And what I'm getting at is that Paul said the weapons of our warfare are not carnal. This is Second Corinthians, chapter 10. But they are mighty for the pulling down of strongholds. In fact, my Bible says for the destruction of fortresses.
[00:36:04] Follow me. He says there are mighty. The weapons of warfare are not carnal. How many know that you're not in a war with your old man? Your old man's dead.
[00:36:15] Oh, that didn't go well.
[00:36:17] See, part of the challenge is you're engaged in a battle that you don't have weapons for. And the only weapon you have for your old man is called baptism.
[00:36:25] If you're in a war with your old man, go get baptized. Well, I've been baptized once. We'll have him hold you under a little while longer.
[00:36:34] Because the devil masquerades as you because you have authority over him.
[00:36:42] So the best that he can do is imitate you, your voice. So you think, oh, man, my old man, you know, I have this challenge. And. And you know, my. You know, it's just my old nature. It's like your old nature died on the cross.
[00:36:57] You weren't. Jesus wasn't just crucified for you. He cru. He is crucified with you.
[00:37:04] Do you know that? When Christ was on the cross, the Bible says you were on the cross with him. This is Romans 6, 7, and 8. He says, we were co. Crucified with Christ. When Jesus died on the cross, you died with him. When he rose from the dead, you rose with him. What you're doing in the baptismal tank is a prophetic act, not a symbolic act. When you go down in the water, the first part of the prophetic act is you died with Christ 47 times in the book of Romans says you're dead. Dead, dead, dead, dead, dead, dead, dead, dead, dead, dead, dead times four, add seven, you're dead. Dead. People don't fight. They're dead.
[00:37:41] And then it says, so the first part of the prophetic act is you're put under the water. But the second part of the prophetic act, which is the most important part, we never talk about. Cause it's not just being on going under the water that makes baptism powerful. It's when you come up.
[00:37:56] Cause Romans chapter six says that when we rose out of the water, we rose from the grave with Christ. And then we got Seated in heavenly places. Are you with me? Like when you came out of the water, you got seated in heavenly places. Your old man is dead. You don't even have weapons. Listen, the. The weapons of a warfare are not of the flesh.
[00:38:17] Ephesians 6. Our struggle is not against flesh and blood. You are not in a war with your old man. If someone told you that, they lied to you, that is a doctrine of a demon. The devil would love for you to think you're in a war with the old man because you don't have authority over your old man because you killed him.
[00:38:32] But you do have authority over the spirit that is masquerading as your old man, and that's the Devil.
[00:38:41] Are you following me? I'm saying some of you are struggling with habits because you think that you're trying to retrain your old man. It's like you just kill your old man. You don't even retrain him, you just kill him.
[00:38:54] What do I do about this whole habit? Kill him, shoot him dead. Make sure he stays dead. But make sure you come back from the grave resurrected. Are you with me?
[00:39:05] So it says, the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but they're divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses. Listen to this. What are the fortresses? Thoughts, speculations and lofty things.
[00:39:17] The thought that I am an evolutionized ape is a fortress.
[00:39:24] How many know? The Lord's building, the Lord's building castles, the Devil's building fortresses.
[00:39:31] How do I know if I have a thought that's actually coming, it's actually a fortress? Because you'll protect something that's illogical.
[00:39:41] All fortresses have a molt around them with alligators in them.
[00:39:46] It's a metaphor. Some of you are like, have you ever talked to someone that's obviously about something that's obviously illogical?
[00:40:00] Like a boy might be a girl.
[00:40:03] And you talk to them, they're like, well, let me tell you 14 reasons why that's true. Well, let me tell you one why it isn't. He's got a penis.
[00:40:14] God doesn't make boys with a girl's spirit.
[00:40:20] Listen, I'm not mad at anybody. I have two grandchildren going through this, so I love them. I'm totally compassionate. They sit at my dinner table, we love on them. We're not preaching to them. I'm only pointing out that we have a spirit called Origen that makes illogical things seem really logical. Because it's not about logic, it's about a spirit.
[00:40:38] It's about the thing that's shouted over Lewiston like there's this prince of the power of the air that is working in the sons of disobedience. And it's called deception, which means when you're deceived, you don't know you're deceived. If you know you're deceived, that's called stupidity.
[00:40:56] Wow.
[00:40:59] I don't know how I'm doing.
[00:41:02] Oh, I don't like these things either.
[00:41:19] You can't solve a second heaven problem with the first heaven solution.
[00:41:24] And God is raising up solutionaries.
[00:41:28] He's raising up Cairo's conductors, people who understand the times, like the. The sons of Issachar. Are you with me? He's. He's raising up prophetic. He's raising up prophetic strategists. He's raising up chiros, conductors. He's raising up people that understand the times.
[00:41:45] You can't solve a second heaven problem with a first heaven solution. I'm not saying there isn't a lot of first heaven problems. Of course there is.
[00:41:54] I mean, humans can make problems for humans.
[00:41:57] Are you with me? I'm not saying everything's a demon. I'm just saying when it is, you won't solve it around a boardroom table trying to figure out what a strategy is to solve a second heaven problem with a first heaven answer.
[00:42:10] Oh, here we go.
[00:42:15] The most needed gift in the body of Christ right now prophecy is released. Well, right. Paul said the greatest gift is prophecy. He said earnestly desires spiritual gifts, but especially that you prophesy. I propose we're doing that pretty well.
[00:42:30] Most. Most of the churches flow with us, at least.
[00:42:33] I want to propose that the most needed gift in the body of Christ today is the gift of discerning of spirits.
[00:42:42] It's the gift of discerning of spirits.
[00:42:48] And we're gonna pray that you get it when I'm done. I'm not being funny now, but the gift of discerning of spirits is the ability. It's the ability to discern what spirit, whether it be an angel, demons, or the Holy Spirit or the human spirit, is actually affecting the situation.
[00:43:11] Are you with me?
[00:43:13] And we need this gift. And I want to tell you this story.
[00:43:20] A few years ago, this is probably more than a few. It's probably 10 years ago. When we preach at our church on Sunday mornings, we preach in two buildings because we don't have enough room in our buildings. So we have four services, and it's in two different buildings. So you do worship in the first building, and you Preach. And while you're preaching in another building, they're doing worship. And so as soon as you get done preaching here, you drive over there, the worship's just finishing, you preach there. And while you're preaching there, they're doing worship in the first building. And you go back and forth like that. So. And the buildings are seven minutes apart.
[00:43:54] So when you get done preaching, you get in a car and they take you over there now because you have to reset and preach the same message seven minutes later. If you've ever done anything like that, you really need to, you kind of have to reset because you're like, okay, you just preached the final part of a 45 minute message. And you have to remind yourself, okay, where are we starting? You're gonna walk in, worship's gonna be over, and you're gonna walk to the stage and preach. That is not easy to do four times. So the drivers are instructed, the driver that drives you from place to place is instructed to not talk to you so that you can just reset. Cause you're just driving seven minutes. So I got done preaching and I get in the car and one of my friends who's on our staff, who's been on our staff for 10 years, is driving. So I get in the car and you know, he knows, like he's not supposed to talk to me. And so I lean over and I gave him a greeting, Good morning. And as soon as I get in the car, I have this overwhelming feeling I want to kill myself. And I'm like, well, message wasn't that bad, you know, and it's so heavy. It's so heavy that it's not just a thought. It's, you know, whenever a demon speaks to you, he doesn't just give you a thought, he gives you an unction. He gives you the feeling you wanna do it right. How do you know if a thought is actually, or even if it's an evil thought? How do you know if it's yours or the devil's? When it's the devil's, it will come with an urge to do what isn't your history and isn't your nature.
[00:45:26] So I sit in the car. I've just, I've acknowledged him. He starts the car up and I have this overwhelming feeling I wanna kill myself. And I, you know, and I'm gonna preach in seven minutes. So like, I'm trying to not think about that. I'm trying to think about, but it is so heavy that I can't hardly get past it. So I turn to My friend, and I say, you know, American green, like, how are you doing? And the normal is fine. I'm doing fine. So I turn to my friend and I said, how are you doing? And instead of saying, fine, he says, what do you mean?
[00:46:01] What do you mean? Well, that's not a normal. Like, we are not greeting each other now.
[00:46:06] And I said, well, I had this picture of you. I said, when I got in the car, I had this overwhelming feeling. I want to kill myself. Now we're just starting to roll out of the driveway.
[00:46:15] And I said, but. I said, but when I looked at you just a minute a second ago, I had this picture, this picture in my mind, like a vision that you had a rope around your neck and you were hanging from a chimney.
[00:46:31] And he starts breaking out, wailing, not weeping, wailing. Now we're driving.
[00:46:40] And he said, I've had this overwhelming feeling that I'm supposed to kill myself for six months. He said, last night I got up on my roof, I tied a rope around my neck and tied around my chimney, and I got to the edge of my roof, and right before I went to jump, a voice said to me, don't jump. Tomorrow I'm going to deliver you.
[00:47:04] He's driving and wailing. I'm like, okay, what do you do now? You know, I've done hundreds of deliverances, but never when someone's driving, especially when it's the driver.
[00:47:19] So I'm like, lord, what do I do? And I saw this picture of me hit him in the chest. Listen, don't hit people for deliverance. It's not a good plan.
[00:47:29] I've never hit anyone for deliverance. It's a bad plan. But that's what I. I saw. I said, and I saw myself hit him in the chest and tell him, the spirit of suicide, to leave him. So he's just wailing. He's driving. I'm like, oh, Lord Jesus. So I said, hey, I saw this picture of me hitting you in your chest and telling the spirit of suicide to go, but I was supposed to hit you hard. He goes, I don't care, man, how hard you hit me. Just. Just get rid of the spirit. I'm all right, man. Hang on to the steering wheel.
[00:47:56] He's driving. He's driving down the road, hanging on the steering wheel. And I go, in the name of Jesus. And I hit him really hard in the chest. He's a. He's a. You know, he's a bodybuilder. Anyway, I hit him in the chest really hard. You spirit of suicide leave. And he goes, he's driving now, like two minutes later, we're in the parking lot and he's still. He's. Now he's not wailing now. He's just crying.
[00:48:17] So I get out of the car because. And I'm like, I don't have time to figure out how he's doing. So I get out of the car, I'm like, well, I got a lease out. So I put my head in the car to go, bro, how you doing? He goes, it's gone. Oh, okay. So Paul remembers this story. So. So. So I preach and I get back and he's. I get in the car, he's still crying. I get in the car and I go, how. How are you doing, man? He's like, bro, it's gone, it's gone. I said, are you sure? He goes, I'm very sure.
[00:48:47] So Tuesday is our Monday, right? So I get to work on Tuesday morning, and he's standing in my doorway weeping. Said, man, are you okay? He goes, man, you saved my life. If it wasn't for you, I'd be dead. I want to give my life to you. I'm like, no, no, man, just send money.
[00:49:06] I didn't say that. Of course I said, Jesus delivered you. No human could do that. But my point is, discernment is so important today. Discernment. You know how discernment works? One of the ways it works. So right now we're talking about discerning spirits. But how many know it's not called the gift of discerning evil spirits. It's called the discerning of spirits. Discerning of spirits. And we're gonna talk in the next session. I wanna talk about why discerning in spirits is important for putting the body of Christ in the rightful place. Because we need to know each other after the spirit. And you need the gift of discerning spirits to know how people's human spirit is supposed to be placed in the right. Anyway, I want to talk about that. But do you know how discerning of spirits works with evil spirits? If someone has an evil spirit on them or in them. Christians can't have an evil spirit possess them, but if it's oppressing them, if you get in their metron. Let me teach you a word. There is no such word as word metron in English, but in the. In the Greek, Paul talked about the fact that he state inside of his metron. It's the word metros in the Greek. We don't have an English word for It. But it means the place of your influence.
[00:50:18] So if you step into someone's metron and they have an evil spirit, whatever is bothering them will bother you. There are a lot of people, Christians especially, who have been diagnosed with bipolar, and I do believe there are such things, bipolar, mental illness, but that are actually not bipolar. There are people that have discernment that don't know how to use it.
[00:50:40] And when they go from metron to metron, they're feeling the spirit that's either in the city or in a person or in an area, and they don't know how to use the gift. So they move from mood swing to mood swing.
[00:50:55] But the way that. The way that evil. The way that discernment works is if you have an evil spirit and I get in your metron, whatever's bothering you will bother bother me.
[00:51:08] I have hundreds of stories you can imagine. I'm thinking of them right now.
[00:51:13] When I used to do counseling for the first three years when I came to Bethel, Dan Fairleigh and I were the two main counselors.
[00:51:21] I would use my discernment gift to help people.
[00:51:24] So I would tell my secretary, I don't want to know why they're coming for counseling, because if you tell me, then it kind of messes with me, like, well, did I know that or did I not know that? And it gets all mixed up. So I think. I think prophetic people are much better counselors with the least information they have, where pastors do much better with more information they have. So I tell my secretary, don't tell me what they're in for. And then I'd say, if you come in for counseling, I'd say, let's grab hands and pray. And what I'm actually doing is stalling. I have your hands, and I'm putting on my recording prayer. Lord, I just pray right now for wisdom. I just pray that you'd bless this person, that you'd use me to help them. But what I'm actually doing is seeing if anything's bothering me. Because let's say I touch you and nothing bothers me. And I say, henry, what are you in here for? And Henry goes, I got a problem with porn. Okay? I know that Henry has a first heaven problem.
[00:52:16] I'm gonna teach Henry the discipline of walking with Christ and how to discipline his mind so that he is controlling his thoughts, and his thoughts aren't controlling him. But how many know that if I touch Henry and I start having pornographic pictures in my mind, I know that Henry has a spirit.
[00:52:33] And I Can give Henry great discipleship kind of information, but he's gonna go home and still have a problem with porn. Cause he has a second heaven problem. And I can't fix a second heaven problem. I can't talk a spirit out of Henry. I can only cast it out. Are you with me? So I need discernment to know what am I dealing with? Is this the first heaven problem? Because, you know, three quarters of a problem are first heaven problems, or is this a second heaven problem? And I got really, really good at helping lots of people because they'd go to counselors who are really way smarter than me. And if they have a first heaven problem, probably better for them to go see a professional counselor. Because that professional counselor is going to give them some very wise guidance that I probably don't have that level of wisdom. But if they have a second heaven problem, I can't tell you how many people went from counselor to counselor to counselor in my office after five years of counseling, three years of counseling, Been to therapists, been to psychologists, been to psychiatrists. I touched them, and I'm like, I can't even believe that someone didn't know what's wrong with this person.
[00:53:41] We live in a world right now that has a second heaven problem.
[00:53:46] 75% of the stuff going on in America is not human.
[00:53:51] And we get on social pages and argue over the theology of stuff we actually don't even understand.
[00:53:59] And people are like, you preached that message, and you said this. How many understand that the whole Bible's held in tension?
[00:54:08] And one of the ways you know what scripture to use, like, am I supposed to die?
[00:54:15] Am I supposed to pick up my cross and carry it? Or am I wearing a crown? Because the Bible says both.
[00:54:23] Am I supposed to be. Am I supposed to. Well, I can just go on. My point is this. We need discernment to know what we're dealing with.
[00:54:35] Am I still okay for time? Okay, so remember when I told the story yesterday when Pharaoh went.
[00:54:43] When Moses went to Pharaoh. Okay, so I'm just gonna tell you the quick part of the story. So when Moses went to Pharaoh, the first thing God. The first sign that God gave Moses and Aaron was, you're gonna throw down your staff, and it's gonna turn into a.
[00:54:57] It's gonna turn into a snake. So they go before Pharaoh, and they're trying to prove to Pharaoh that God actually spoke to them. So God said, hey, I won't just give you words. I'll give you signs that follow him. So they get before Pharaoh and You know the story. He says, let my people go. And Pharaoh's like, basically like, screw you.
[00:55:16] You're out of here. And Moses says to Pharaoh. I mean, Moses says to Aaron, aaron, show him what? Show them what we can do. So Aaron throws down his rod, and it becomes a snake.
[00:55:26] But what's the next thing that happens?
[00:55:29] The sorcerers throw down their staffs and they become several snakes, at least two.
[00:55:36] And of course, Aaron's snake eats their snake. But for the next three plagues, the sorcerers duplicate the plagues. They're counterfeit miracles.
[00:55:50] Are you with me? And here's the challenge.
[00:55:54] When you're in warfare, you have to know what snakes is God's and what snake is enemies. Because if you don't have discernment, you get rid of all snakes, and pretty soon you have no signs that make you wonder.
[00:56:09] The body of Christ lacks so much discernment that they actually are building cases against everything that's powerful. Because the enemy only counterfeits things that actually work.
[00:56:22] If they would have stopped at the third plague, they would have not known which miracles were God's.
[00:56:32] By the fourth plague. I think it was the fourth plague. It might have been the fifth one. Yeah, it was the fourth one. They produced something that the sorcerers couldn't produce. And the sorcerers said to Pharaoh, this must be God. We can't do this. Did you notice that they produce miracles like sorcerers produce miracles? People, how many have heard this? Quote it so many times, in the last days, there'll be false prophets. But the way they quote it means in the last days, all the prophets will be false.
[00:56:59] I'd like to point out the only reason there's false prophets is because there's real ones. The most powerful things in the kingdom is what the enemy duplicates. And if you don't have discernment, you don't know if that's a false prophet. A real prophet, a false sign, A real sign. Because the enemy does do the same things God does. People say to us all the time, well, you know, don't they do that in the new age?
[00:57:23] Don't they do that in the cults? Yeah, they do almost everything we do.
[00:57:28] That's why it's called deception.
[00:57:32] Are you following me? And I'm saying, we, God. Okay, it's a metaphor. Can you do metaphors? Okay, right now, the Lord is releasing snakes.
[00:57:43] His snakes.
[00:57:45] God is showing signs that make you wonder. He's opening up a new era. And new eras are always opened up with power signs and wonders. Whenever God wants To change history, he always first sends his prophets.
[00:57:59] Look at the Old Testament. Abraham, prophet, Moses, prophet, David, prophet. Go on and on. The Old Testament is full. Haggai, Amos. These guys were all farmers who became prophets. Why? God was trying to shift history. Whenever God starts to shift history, he always tells his secrets to his servants, the prophets. They proclaim the word of the Lord. And when you proclaim it, what happens? Prophecy is foretelling. I'm telling you the future, but it's also forth telling. I'm causing the future.
[00:58:32] Are you with me? Remember Ezekiel's boneyard? God takes Ezekiel down to a boneyard, which is a former battlefield. And there's all these dead bones, all these people who have died on the battlefield. And God says, can these bones live?
[00:58:47] And Ezekiel says, you know.
[00:58:52] And God doesn't say prophesy about the bones. He says prophesy to the bones. And he prophesies progressively. You understand? You're getting where I'm going. He prophesies to the bones. They stand up. Then he prophesied to the sinews. Then he prophesied to the flesh. Then he prophesied to the breath. Are you with me? I'm saying that was not foretelling. That was forthtelling. He was causing the future. How does God shift history? He first sends the prophets and shifts. He begins to proclaim. He begins to call things that are not as though they are. Why? Because he's impregnating. How many know the word of God? And anyway, the sower went out to sow seed. I told you I was adhd. Some assembly required on every message. Jesus said the sower went out to sow seed. The word seed is the word sperma. He said the seed was the word of God. That word seed is the word sperma. We get our word sperm from it. Are you with me? So when God declares a prophetic word, what is he doing? He's impregnating the cosmos with the sperm of God. What's he looking for? A womb of the dawn.
[00:59:57] We're in the womb of the dawn. What does a womb need to give birth? Sperm. It needs the word of the Lord.
[01:00:04] We are the womb. We're incubating it, but we don't create it.
[01:00:11] We are, Mary. We have the egg. But without the sperm of God, we have no Jesus. Are you with me?
[01:00:18] And I'm pointing out that we are. We are in the womb of the dawn. And when God. When God foretells, he's telling the future. But when he's forth telling, he's causing the future.
[01:00:30] So God sends the prophets and they begin to prophesy things that are not as though they are. Josiah, There'll be a. There'll be a king named Josiah. And he will turn Israel back to God. He was 8 years old when he became king. You know how long ago. You know how many years it took for a king to be named Josiah? 347 years. 347 years earlier, an unnamed prophet says, there'll be a king. His name will be Josiah. What did he do? He impregnated the atmosphere with the sperm of God, waiting for a king in the royal line to be named Josiah.
[01:01:05] Are you following me? And I'm pointing out that the Lord is speaking, but he's looking for a womb. Do you have one?
[01:01:16] Think of the New Testament.
[01:01:19] Jesus rose from the dead, right? He rose from the dead. He speaks to the disciples, tells them to wait for what the Father promised. They're waiting, right? 40, 40 days, 50 days. Anyway, all of a sudden Holy Spirit falls. What's the first prophetic declaration? In the last days, I'm gonna pour out my spirit on all flesh. And your sons and daughters shall prophesy. Isn't it interesting that 40 days into the church God sends God's like, I'm not gonna send a prophet. I'm gonna send prophets.
[01:01:53] The first declaration in the New Testament for God to move was God puts a prophetic mantle not on one person, but on a whole generation. He's like, I'm gonna shift history. I'm not going to have it on Amos. I'm not going to have it just on Moses. I'm not going to have it just on David. I'm going to put a prophetic mantle on all my people. And they're all going to prophesy. The devil won't be able to stop them because there's a whole prophetic movement impregnating the earth with prophetic declarations. And God is raising up apostles and prophets and evangelists, pastors and teachers. Like, we need the five fold ministry to equip the saints to do the work of service. What are the saints doing? They're prophesying.
[01:02:33] Who's equipping them? The prophets are equipping the saints to prophesy. Why? Because God wants to.
[01:02:41] God is shifting history and he needs a whole generation that can speak into things that are not as though they are. Are you with me? And I'm pointing out that God wants to shift history.
[01:02:58] And it's time for us.
[01:03:01] It's time for us to grow up.
[01:03:06] When God moves in signs and wonders, the enemy moves in signs and wonders.
[01:03:12] If you don't have the gift of discerning of spirits, you don't know that although there's only one God snake, there's six devil snakes, sorcerer snakes, that they're still a God snake. And by the way, I'd point out that God started it.
[01:03:33] God's not duplicating what the enemy's doing. The enemy's duplicating what God is doing. And by the way, he can't do it more powerfully, but he can do it and he can multiply it. So he doesn't, he doesn't put. The sorcerers don't make one snake to take on Aaron snake they were. It actually doesn't tell you in the story how many snakes there are, but we'll say there's two or three. And there's more, there's more feral snakes than there are God snakes.
[01:03:57] And that's why we run away from it.
[01:03:59] And God goes, look for my snake because I initiated this fight with a snake.
[01:04:09] It's time to shift history.
[01:04:12] God's looking for history makers and world changers.
[01:04:17] When God works through you, history becomes his story.
[01:04:22] And I believe that this place is to become an apostolic training and equipping center.
[01:04:31] We're discovering, developing and deploying the saints. And you're a geographically strategic in that you can get to most of Europe here very quickly and Africa and everywhere like. I just believe that the Lord wants to make this place an Antioch where people would come from even other churches to learn how to be equipped.
[01:05:01] They would be anointed, gifted and called.
[01:05:06] Your calling gives you your identity. Your anointing gives you your, your, your, your. I'm sorry, your calling gives your identity. Your gifting gives your ability and your anointing gives you your purpose.
[01:05:19] And God wants to release gifts, callings and anointings in this place. I believe the Lord's gonna raise up a school of ministry here. It's gonna be as dynamic as the reading school of ministry. People will come from all over Europe to be trained here in the power of the Spirit. And the emphasis will be the power of the Spirit. Because people in England are overtaught and under experienced.
[01:05:46] And this school will be a do and teach school. Do and then teach it like you do it, then teach it. As far as I'm concerned, if you don't, if you can't do it, I don't want to learn from you.
[01:06:01] And so would you stand.
[01:06:06] Okay, I'M going to pray for the gift of discerning of spirits for you. Okay? So. And what I'm going to do is I'm going to airdrop it to you.
[01:06:19] You ever use airdrop?
[01:06:21] If I airdrop something to you, what do you have to do? I have to accept it. So if you don't get, it, ain't my problem.
[01:06:31] So I would like you to put your hands out. If you don't want this, don't put your hands out. Go like this so we can shame you.
[01:06:42] We'll call it encouragement.
[01:06:45] And I wanna tell you that when you get this gift, then you need to go after learning how to use it. Because the gift of discerning of spirits will make you crazy if you don't know how to use it. Because all of a sudden you have all these senses and you're like, what is this? Makes me crazy. So you need the Holy Spirit to teach you how to use the gift that you're about to get. And by the way, it'll start tonight. So when you start having these, like, well, what was that? What happened when that person passed me in the store, why did I feel that thing? How come when I came into that city, I suddenly felt this thing and it's like, oh, that's. That crazy prophet gave this gift to me from the Holy Spirit. So obviously the Holy Spirit is the giver. I'm just the mailman. So, Holy Spirit, right now, you told me that I was to come this morning and I was to release the gift of discerning of spirits. So I release that over every single person in this room. I pray for an impartation, Lord, and I pray that every person in this room would receive the gift of discerning of spirits. And I want you to say out loud, I receive that for myself and I receive it for my family.
