Having Faith in the God of Miracles
This Sunday, Juliet spoke to us from the book of Samuel about his mother Hannah and the miracle birth of Samuel, her son. For Hannah, it was only a miracle from the hand of God that could open her womb. Even though she appeared drunk in her anguish in front of Eli the priest, Hannah poured out her heart to the Lord and her life was defined by the miracle of Samuel, ‘because I asked the Lord for him’.
