[00:00:02] Welcome to the Crema Chaj podcast.
[00:00:08] Right, take a seat.
[00:00:14] I enjoyed watching people come into church. I don't know if the sun's still shining outside, but at 9:30 service it was.
[00:00:21] And people, this time of the year, there's like a lift as the sun starts to come out as. As we move into another season. I think one of the reasons God has given us seasons is we.
[00:00:34] You can't stay in one season forever and you kind of go. And winter is often a season where it looks like everything's gone, everything's died. If you have a garden, everything's stripped right back. But then there's this tipping point as we come into spring and suddenly life starts springing all around you. The flowers start coming out, nature starts coming alive. And I think sometimes we have those seasons in church and they often follow the season. So watching some of you come in, there was much bigger smiles on your face today. And I want to talk a little bit about the kingdom of God today and maybe even help lead you into a new season of your life.
[00:01:24] So find your Bible.
[00:01:26] It can be a paper one or it can be an electronic one. Find Matthew 13.
[00:01:32] The paper one is the real one, of course, but you can use any. So Matthew, chapter 13, verse 31. Why don't you stand as we read God's word?
[00:01:48] Another parable he put forth to them saying, the kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed which man took and sowed in his field, which indeed is the least of all the seeds.
[00:02:01] But when it is grown, it is greater than the herbs and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and nest in its branches. We'll go on just another verse, another parable he spoke to them. The kingdom of heaven is like leaven, which a woman took and hid in three measures of a meal till it was all leavened.
[00:02:23] Okay, take a seat.
[00:02:28] I don't know what you think the kingdom of heaven is.
[00:02:35] The kingdom of heaven is not salvation. I don't think it's the church it's a part of.
[00:02:42] We are saved by the cross of Jesus and his blood. When he gave his life for you.
[00:02:49] By the power of the Holy Spirit, you have put your trust in him. John 3:16. For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
[00:03:04] You put your belief in him and you, you are able to enter the kingdom because you are rescued by him. Romans 10:9. If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and you believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
[00:03:24] So you are saved by confession and the belief in your heart.
[00:03:32] Acts 16:31 Believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved, you and your household.
[00:03:38] So when we put our trust in Jesus, he rescues our life. And actually there is a spillover and some of you are starting to see that not only you get saved, but your household starts to get saved. It is the kingdom of God advancing. You're saved by the blood of Jesus, by what he has done. But because you get saved, there is this knock on effect and suddenly your parents or your brothers and sisters, it starts to spread what Jesus has done in your life. John 1:12.
[00:04:11] Those who received him and believe in his name are given the right to become children of God.
[00:04:18] So salvation is through the blood of Jesus. And this salvation justifies you.
[00:04:26] So because of his blood on the Christ, it's just as if you'd never sinned. Because all of your past and even all of the sin in your future has been placed on Jesus.
[00:04:39] And because of this, you can now become a subject of the kingdom, because you become an heir.
[00:04:46] He gave the right to become sons and daughters.
[00:04:52] You're not a slave to sin now. You are an heir of the King.
[00:04:58] And so we're on a journey of moving away. We sing that song, don't we? Sometimes. No longer slaves, we're learning to be free from sin and all of that old life. But we're learning what it's like to live as sons and daughters under our King and our Heavenly Father. And you see, the parables in this part of Matthew are all about the coming kingdom of God and the fruit of salvation, God's rule and reign. You see, the kingdom of God is. Is where he reigns. The United Kingdom is an area where now King Charles reigns.
[00:05:39] But the kingdom of God is not geographic.
[00:05:43] It's not a place you travel to, but rather a reign you enter into.
[00:05:49] It's God actively ruling, not over a territory, but over hearts, lives and history, where God's will is obeyed, trusted and embraced. The kingdom is present.
[00:06:07] Does that make sense? His rule and reign comes in.
[00:06:13] Excuse me, the kingdom of heaven. Jesus is saying it's like a mustard seed. He says it's the tiniest of seeds. And he says a man took it and sowed it in a field, and it's the least of all the seeds you could sow. But when it's grown, it is greater than the herbs and becomes a tree so that the birds of the air come and nest in its branches. I think there are two meanings to this parable. I mean, there may be more, but these are the two that I think jump out. Jesus is talking about the new Christian church that he's about to be birthed. Remember, Jesus hasn't died yet. He's telling parables and he's explaining this, that this kingdom of God is breaking in. He's about to give his life for the world so that we can know him. As I said, we can be forgiven, but we can become heirs to the kingdom. And so because of his life and his death and his resurrection, the kingdom has been sown and this kingdom will eventually cover the earth. That's what he's saying. And this parable is being fulfilled in our lifetime.
[00:07:29] We are seeing the kingdom of God moving across the globe.
[00:07:34] The second thing I think he's saying is it speaks to the individual believer because of his life.
[00:07:41] The kingdom becomes a seed in our life because our life can be the field as well.
[00:07:48] And if we seek first the kingdom, it will grow in our lives. And indeed we will become kingdom people. We will learn to live as heirs to the king. Everything that's his becomes ours because we are heirs. We are sons and daughters of the king.
[00:08:09] So why is this important when we talk about sowing and reaping? Well, this parable and some of these parable are about something or what someone becomes, not how they start out.
[00:08:27] This story isn't about what you start with, it's about what you finish with. And Jesus is saying, the mustard seed starts small, and it's small and insignificant, but it finishes great.
[00:08:43] And so that seed that Jesus has planted in our life of the kingdom of God is growing. And you might feel, well, I feel it's really insignificant.
[00:08:55] I know that Jesus has died for me, and I feel forgiven. And I feel this new life. And I'm. I'm very excited about that. But I'm just a little person.
[00:09:05] No one cares what I do. No one cares what happens.
[00:09:11] I'm telling you, if you're an heir to the king, the seed of the kingdom has been placed in you. And heaven is looking to see what you do. Heaven cares what you do. And it might feel insignificant now, but it is growing and it is taking root and it will grow into something wonderful. Daniel sees this picture when Daniel is prophesying. He says this in Daniel 4.
[00:09:42] In order that the living may know that the most High rules in heaven, he gives.
[00:09:51] Let me read that again. In order that the living may know that the most high rules in the Kingdom of men, gives it to whoever he will and he sets over it the lowest of men.
[00:10:07] You see, the early Christians were despised.
[00:10:12] They were common, they were uneducated.
[00:10:15] They were fishermen, farmers, carpenters, women, tax collectors.
[00:10:22] They hissed at me first service.
[00:10:25] But women were counted as second class citizens in those times.
[00:10:31] They were, you know, just rough characters. That's how they saw the early Christians. They were all rather distasteful.
[00:10:42] But God is like that. He takes distasteful characters and he transforms them and then he transforms society through them.
[00:10:54] People like you and I.
[00:10:56] He loves to take what doesn't look much, fill it with his spirit, transform it and then do a miracle.
[00:11:07] That's what he wants to do in our lives. None of us deserve the kingdom of heaven, but it is the Father's good pleasure to give it.
[00:11:16] So the invitation is embrace it to learn to walk in his rule and in his reign.
[00:11:25] And so a corporate seed is sown and that's often expressed in the church. And individual seeds are sown in our lives.
[00:11:37] So I think when, you know, 10 years or so ago, the Lord sowed some kingdom seed in this church and he said, gather around my presence. Make my presence a priority. He said, get your thinking about money right and go after salvation. And by that we understood that it was the saving of the person and the healing and restoring of the body. So we start. That was the seed that started growing and we didn't really think much of it. And you know, we just wanted God in our life. There were no great plans. We just gathered around his presence and started to learn to worship and we enjoyed him and he would come and love on us. That's the only way I can describe it. He would come and fill us with his spirit.
[00:12:29] And so here we are today, on Tuesday night. Every Tuesday we pray. If you haven't been to revival prayer, come to revival prayer. It is the engine house of everything that happens in this church.
[00:12:43] It's where we worship. We pray. All the lights are on, all the chairs are gone. We just worship and pray for a couple of hours. People come and go and the Lord speaks to us and ministers to us. Anyway, on Tuesday, this last Tuesday night, we did a photo op at the end.
[00:13:01] One of the fruits of gathering around his presence has been the music and the worship. So we've recorded a song, we want to release it and it needs artwork.
[00:13:10] So at the end of revival prayer, we said, well, we're going to do, we want to do a photo. And they had a scaffold at the back and we all gathered around and played the track.
[00:13:21] And I was so proud because people. It wasn't a photo op. It might even come up.
[00:13:29] This is what we did on Tuesday night. There you go.
[00:13:33] And as we started. As we started the photo op that we played the music track, everyone just worshiped.
[00:13:43] No one cared about the camera or anything. Everyone was just caught up in singing, singing the song. And I just went home and I thought, this is the church. I want to be part of the church, a church that worships God. But so many people gave up. To me, it was so funny. At the end, they're going, well, you know, I'm not sure I should have been in the picture.
[00:14:04] I went, why not?
[00:14:06] Well, I didn't know the words. Well, that's because it's quite a new song.
[00:14:10] Well, I'm too old.
[00:14:14] This is for the youngsters. No, no, it's not. It's for the family of God.
[00:14:21] And then I'm not. I don't want to talk about what kind of, you know, whether it was the men or the women. But a number of people came up to said, I didn't have the right outfit on.
[00:14:31] Okay.
[00:14:32] And I hadn't done my hair right. Some of us don't need to worry about that. But the thing is, it wasn't about any of that.
[00:14:43] It was about what a God, what a wonderful God, and the little seed that the Lord sowed.
[00:14:55] This picture and the worship will probably go all around the world, because what starts small and seemingly insignificant, the spirit of God blesses. And it grows, and it grows in the tree. And this is the closest I'm ever going to get to being on apple music.
[00:15:15] Okay, So I want to really quickly talk to you about three things I've learned about seed.
[00:15:24] Okay. I'm not a gardening expert, but I have been around church for a long while.
[00:15:30] And the first thing is, when the seed is sown and something starts to grow, don't trim it too quickly.
[00:15:38] You know, the mistake we often make in church is trying to trim the bush too quickly because we think we know what it should look like.
[00:15:49] We think we know what God should do.
[00:15:52] So God starts to move and something starts to grow, and out come the trimmers, you know?
[00:15:58] But if we trim too quickly, we don't see what God wants to grow. So we have to let the bush grow. Now, hear me. It won't start perfect.
[00:16:09] There'll be loads of offshoots. There'll be fallouts.
[00:16:13] But the father, who is the vine dresser is quite capable of pruning the bush and he says, anything that bears fruit, I prune so. So it will bear more fruit. What do I mean?
[00:16:29] Well, you know, when we started and we started gathering around the presence of God and you know, some of the songs started to get a bit of a beat and sometimes more beat than melody. And that irritates me because I'm more interested in melody because I don't move how some of you move.
[00:16:46] Okay?
[00:16:48] But we said we would write and sing songs the Holy Spirit likes, not the ones I like.
[00:16:55] That was part of the journey for us. So if the Holy Spirit likes them, we like them. Flags. I thought I'd banned flags.
[00:17:04] Flags I thought were for old people.
[00:17:08] And then all you youngsters start grabbing flags and waving them in worship. I'm like, what's that about?
[00:17:17] What's it about? A new season.
[00:17:20] God is moving. There is a beat coming. There is a march coming. The king is calling his people.
[00:17:30] The people start to fall behind the beat. The flags start to come out. Why? Because the king is coming.
[00:17:38] So we wave the flags because the king is leading his church. And the church starts to rise up. You see, if we trim the bush too quick, we would have missed all of that because God was doing something new.
[00:17:56] And we see this happening all the way across the world. You know, I'm not a great social media fan, but I am grateful that when I look all around the world there are gatherings big and small of people worshiping.
[00:18:10] The spirit of God is blowing over the world. Why the. The king is coming. The kingdom is breaking in. This is an unprecedented time.
[00:18:19] Something is happening. We are part of it. The king is coming. So as he moves, don't. And as the seed grows, don't trim the bush too quick. Let's wait and see what it looks like and allow the Father to trim it. Number two, don't be fearful.
[00:18:37] I prayed for somebody this morning, first service, and they were going to. I think they were going to go and do some missions with a charity.
[00:18:44] And he just said, he said, the truth is, I'm terrified.
[00:18:48] And I said, ah, that's good. That's good news. Because when you're going to step out for God, when you're going to do something you've never done before, you know, there is a natural fear and God isn't in the fear, but without the fear, you won't need faith.
[00:19:02] So the thing is, there is this. Your heart starts beating. You know, I don't know if I can do that. In a minute we're going to call people forward Just give your life to Jesus. Your heart's going to be going. It's kind of like, you know, I don't know if I can do this. But then faith rises up and goes, yes, I can, because he is within me and I'm no longer that slave. I'm now a son and daughter of the King, so I can do whatever he leads me into.
[00:19:28] But sometimes there are unhelpful fears that stop the seed growing. One of them is the fear of excess. Look, whenever.
[00:19:39] Whenever God moves, the pendulum swings, okay? It's just like that.
[00:19:43] But to get the pendulum moving, okay, sometimes there needs to be an emphasis.
[00:19:51] So there's an emphasis on presence, there's an emphasis on healing and salvation at the moment.
[00:19:58] Why? Why?
[00:20:02] When I'm driving, I need to get up a hill. I have to put my foot on the accelerator a bit more, otherwise I can't get up the hill because I need the momentum. And so often when God is moving and making some changes into what he's doing, there is an emphasis. Don't mistake it for excess, okay? It's just an emphasis for a time.
[00:20:27] Because he wants to get it in our DNA. So it's actually, actually part of who we are. So that when we do a photo shoot, it's not. It's.
[00:20:36] It's there because our natural posture isn't.
[00:20:40] It's there because it's in our DNA. Does that make sense? The emphasis enables us, him to put the DNA into our life so that the seed of the kingdom can now start and grow and be healthy.
[00:20:55] Error.
[00:20:57] What if I make a mistake? What if it goes wrong? You know, I say this very, very often. If you find the perfect church, don't join it because you'll ruin it.
[00:21:07] Because if it's perfect and we're imperfect and we'll go and we'll just ruin a perfect church.
[00:21:13] Jesus died for our errors. We call it sin.
[00:21:17] He gave his life so it was paid for in full. So we can make mistakes. I'm not talking about we can go and sin, but what I'm talking about is that in life we make mistakes. We go this way, we go that way. And the difference between a Christian and a non Christian is that we know how to get up.
[00:21:37] You know, we trip up and fall when we make a mistake. We stand up and we brush ourselves down and we are cleansed by the blood of Jesus.
[00:21:45] We can do that. If you're a slave, you can't do that. You're caught down in your sin. But we're not.
[00:21:52] And so we make them. Sometimes we make them say, I honestly, I feel like I often made them all. I've released the wrong people. I've released them too early. They look good. Sometimes I've taken a wrong turn and the Lord is like this heavenly satnav.
[00:22:07] And you know, and he's nowhere near as annoying as a sat nav. But, you know, when you take the wrong note, you know, take, make a U turn and you just. He redirects you.
[00:22:20] Now, the reason I don't need to be fearful of making a mistake is because of the blood of Jesus. And secondly, because his mercies are new every morning.
[00:22:31] So if I get it wrong today, I've only got to worry till tomorrow morning because Lamentations 3:23 says they're new tomorrow.
[00:22:39] He brushed me down and off we go again.
[00:22:43] I don't need to stay down there because the seed of the kingdom is growing in my life. The seed of the kingdom is growing in life. Yeah.
[00:22:54] 5.
[00:22:56] Enthusiasm.
[00:22:58] This is what Jonathan Edwards called crowd excitement.
[00:23:03] And look, if we can't get excited about what God is doing, who can?
[00:23:10] And one of the things I've learned about enthusiasm, I love that lady, she knew how to get healed.
[00:23:16] But enthusiasm or faith often encourages the timid in because as people are enthusiastic for God, the timid that are holding back a bit, oh, I don't know if I could do that. That's not quite me. I don't do that. See that?
[00:23:37] And they go, I can't do that, but I can do this.
[00:23:40] And what I've noticed is they take a step forward and they move in.
[00:23:45] And so what I would say to you all, as the seed of the kingdom is in your life, lean more into enthusiasm than unbelief.
[00:23:58] Lean into.
[00:23:59] If I'm going to go anywhere, I'm going to lean into being, into enthusiasm for the Lord, and we're going to go for this. As opposed to unbelief and faith over reason.
[00:24:12] I'm going to believe that God's ways are better than my thinking. Hear me, it's good to have understanding. Don't be stupid. But our ways are not his ways. So we are learning to have heaven's perspective.
[00:24:27] So we're learning to lean into heaven and understand what heaven sees, not what our own reason says.
[00:24:36] And then the last thing I want to say about taking care of the seed is Jesus says, this seed becomes a tree so that the birds of the air can come and nest in its branches.
[00:24:51] The word means to pitch one's tent to find rest and water.
[00:24:58] It is a safe place, but it is not a place without pain.
[00:25:05] Let me say that again.
[00:25:08] The kingdom of God is a safe place, but it doesn't mean there is not pain. Sometimes when we stand before Jesus, there will be no more pain.
[00:25:21] But in the kingdom on earth, there is still pain. You know, I don't know. Just right now, the birds are starting to sing, and have you heard them in the trees? Sometimes there's a fight and they start squawking and, you know, sometimes they'll throw each other out of trees. It's very bad behavior. If you've been around church a while, you'll see the same.
[00:25:41] You see, many people opt out of church because they got hurt.
[00:25:46] Someone did this, and maybe there was a territorial squabble.
[00:25:53] But you realize, like, we're all going to heaven, we're all going to spend eternity together because of the blood of Jesus.
[00:26:04] And what if the person that hurt you is your neighbor?
[00:26:08] You know, Mansion 27A.
[00:26:15] And you go, that won't be heaven. Yes, it will.
[00:26:20] Yes, it. Yes, it will.
[00:26:24] You may have them for eternity.
[00:26:26] You see, you cannot be a Christian outside of his church, but rather he wants you to grow into being a son or a daughter, an heir into what he has for your life, not what other people are trying to do to your life.
[00:26:46] The devil wants you to be a victim.
[00:26:49] God wants you to be an heir.
[00:26:53] Victims say, I cannot move on in this because heirs say, I may be carrying some pain.
[00:27:02] Life might have been difficult.
[00:27:05] I might have been dealt a hard hand. But my father is the king and I appeal to the king.
[00:27:15] And so we are able to move on.
[00:27:18] And as we move on, our pain is healed. Now hear me. I'm not saying that pain is minimized.
[00:27:26] Paul says we receive.
[00:27:28] We can comfort those with the comfort we have received from heaven.
[00:27:34] I'm not minimizing pain.
[00:27:38] We are feeling beings.
[00:27:42] We suffer from pain when people hurt us, but we are also heirs to the king and the seed of the kingdom. He wants us to keep moving, don't stop because of pain. Keep walking with him and be healed and learn to be a son and daughter.
[00:28:04] You know, sometimes there's temporary pain in the kingdom. The Bible's full of stories of people who. Who moved through their pain. You know, I mean, which one of the Bible characters didn't you know? Joseph. The brothers sell him into Egypt. He's in prison.
[00:28:20] Potiphar's wife. You know, the story just goes on and on.
[00:28:25] You know, Fancy being Abraham's wife.
[00:28:30] He pretends she's his sister.
[00:28:35] There is mess as we go, but we are heirs of the king and we are learning to walk in the kingdom.
[00:28:47] So my question. I want to finish. We're almost done. What is the kingdom seed in your life?
[00:28:55] You know, God has planted something as a corporate people. What has he planted in you?
[00:29:00] You might say, well, it's worship.
[00:29:03] Great, become a worshipper. But they won't let me sing in the band because they say I sing out of tune.
[00:29:12] Well, that's me. They won't let me sing in the band because I sing out of tune. It's awful.
[00:29:17] But thankfully, the Bible says, make a joyful noise. I can do that.
[00:29:22] So just become a worshipper.
[00:29:25] And if you can't sing in tune, go and have singing lessons. And if the seed is on you, you're a son and your daughter, allow the seed to grow. Justice you bring. You know, I think God has called me to bring justice where people don't have a voice. Years ago, we had a lady in our church. Not this church, our church in Southend. I was just starting ministry. She was 80 years old.
[00:29:51] And when you get older, you can get a bit cantankerous. Okay. And the waterboard wanted to change the stopcock. She wouldn't let them in the house because she didn't trust them.
[00:30:06] So they cut her off and they put a standpipe outside in the street for her to. So if she wanted to flush her toilet, she had to go and get a bucket of water from the standpipe and flush it. I found out about this. I was outraged.
[00:30:21] I get on the phone, I get this poor girl, and I'm like, what do you think you're doing? Do you not understand?
[00:30:29] This woman has been alive for 80 years.
[00:30:33] She's got no water in her house.
[00:30:37] She's probably accomplished more in her life than you ever will. It's probably a bit over the top. I know.
[00:30:42] And she's gone. Well, there's nothing we can do. I'm sorry.
[00:30:46] We've tried to get in, but she wouldn't let us in. So we put a standpipe outside the house. And I'm like, do something.
[00:30:54] And I was summarizing it, but this went on for an hour.
[00:30:59] It was in the day when you weren't allowed to hang up.
[00:31:02] You know, there wasn't a disclaimer.
[00:31:04] We will not tolerate people being unpolite to us.
[00:31:10] In those days, you could be unpolite if you were speaking truth.
[00:31:14] Anyway, so, long story cut short, we arrange. They get an engineer out and we arrange for Someone to be with Florie. And they reconnect her. And they reconnect her water.
[00:31:26] Okay.
[00:31:27] Three or four months later, I can't remember how long it is, one of the girls comes to church and she brings this girl, oh, Steve, I wanted you to meet my friend. And she said, this is so and so.
[00:31:39] And you know something? They introduce you to someone. I know that name.
[00:31:43] She says she works for the water board.
[00:31:48] Oh, no.
[00:31:50] I just looked at her and she said, I just introduced her to Florrie.
[00:31:58] And so when you're bringing justice and the kingdom of God, just remember they might end up in your church, but you can still speak truth and you can still speak up for those that have no voice and bring the justice of the kingdom of God into people's lives. The seed of the kingdom is happening all over this place.
[00:32:23] Leadership. Learn to lead righteously. Maybe the Lord's called you to lead and you say, but they won't do what I say.
[00:32:30] Or maybe they're doing what you do instead.
[00:32:33] You see, your actions have to match your words. Jesus was a word worker. That's why it was easy to follow Jesus. He did what he said, he said what he did, and the crowds flocked to follow him.
[00:32:45] Business build businesses that prosper people.
[00:32:49] I just heard about a Christian business, and they're quite a large business. They got, I think, 700 employees, and they're 50 years old this year. So they're taking all 700 employees to Monaco.
[00:33:07] You want to work for them, to bless them and say thanks.
[00:33:15] You want to be a business leader, be one of those.
[00:33:18] Teacher, teach his ways. An evangelist. You know, I had this, and then on Facebook this morning, I saw this. This is a picture of some of our guys Saturday.
[00:33:30] There they are. What a handsome bunch.
[00:33:33] Out on. It was Saturday, was it this Saturday? Yeah. Yeah. Out on the streets preaching the gospel, telling people about the Lord Jesus Christ, the seed of the kingdom. Yes.
[00:33:47] You see what started off as a little seed. Oh, we're just gathering around the presence. We're just. We're just going to call people to faith. Suddenly get sown in people's lives and they go, well, there's not enough in here. We're going to go out there and do it.
[00:34:03] And the gospel is preached.
[00:34:06] We're all subjects to the kingdom. We're living under his reign, witnesses to his glory. The rule and reign of Jesus is spreading across the earth. The gatherings that are happening around the world. And all I'm saying to you is, as the seed is sown, he and as the seed of the kingdom is sown in your lives.
[00:34:25] Don't trim it too early. Let's see what it grows into. See what God wants to do in your life.
[00:34:32] Don't be fearful of excess, okay?
[00:34:37] Lean into enthusiasm, because God always rewards faith.
[00:34:45] And if you find yourself in pain, Understand that what happened to Jesus might well happen to you.
[00:35:01] And he's not causing the pain, but in the pain. He's giving you an opportunity to learn, to be a son or a daughter and walk with him. And he will walk you through, through the pain into healing. And the seed of the kingdom will grow and flourish. There are so many in this church who have walked the journey of the kingdom. They've seen it all. They've come through triumphant, and they have become blessed and trees of righteousness. They've become the leaven that changes everything it touches. I want to read a few more verses, but why don't you stand up? Otherwise I'll keep going or all afternoon.
[00:35:49] Okay, what I'm going to do, I'm going to read to you Psalm 1, and I want you to know that the first service got this absolutely wrong, okay? So I want you to operate in faith, all right? When they realize what I'm doing, but when you think this is you, put your hand up, okay?
[00:36:11] Blessed is the man or woman who walks in the council, who does not walk in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is the law of the Lord.
[00:36:26] And in his law he meditates day and night. He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water that bring forth its fruit in season, whose leaf shall not wither, and whatever he does shall prosper. That's all of you. You should have your hands up. That's what Jesus has done. That's the kingdom.
[00:36:53] This is why we worship. This is why we gather.
[00:37:02] The kingdom seed is in your life, and it's taking root.
[00:37:06] And it might be small at the moment. You might not see much of a crop. But I'm telling you, if you will allow God, it will grow and it will grow, and it will grow.
